Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.

Elegantly fragrant on the nose with ripe lemon citrus, tropical fruit, lemon curd, and peach with touches of sweet vanilla. It is medium-full bodied on the creamy and spicy palate with more lemon, tropical fruit, pineapple, and peach flavours accented with subtle vanilla oak spice notes. It has juicy, mouth-watering acids while vanilla-tinged lemon and leesy notes linger on the long, juicy finish. Tasted Dec/2020.

Blend of old Grenache, Syrah & Mourvèdre has a lovely, intense nose of spices, black pepper5 & dark berries with meaty, licorice, black cherry & smoky mineral, plus hints of violets adding further complexity. On the structured, medium-full bodied palate it is very ripe with black & blueberry, smoky mineral, black pepper spice, black raspberry, and licorice flavours supported by ripe, fine-grained tannins and juicy, well-balanced acidity. Slightly chalky on the mid-palate and beautifully balanced throughout with lovely flavour replays lingering on the long, smoky mineral finish. Tasted Jan/2022.

Highly aromatic nose is fresh & fragrant w/ ripe blackberry, black currant, fine wood spices & savoury earth aromas, w/ intriguing touches of cassis, tomato leaf & graphite. It's full-ish bodied on the dry, chewy palate w/ very good concentration & complex, lightly tangy flavours of ripe dark berry, blackberry, currant, tomato leaf & some pipe tobacco & graphite notes. It has fresh, juicy & well-balanced acidity, while structured tannins are smooth, refined & well-integrated. Subtle chalky mouthfeel on back palate. Savoury, graphite mineral notes on long finish. Tasted Jan 2023. Score: 92+ pts

Lovely fragrant, autolytic, and biscuit aromas with a twist of honey and citrus surround a core of apple, pear, quince, and leesy notes. It's medium-full bodied on the crisp, dry, and tangy palate with lovely citrusy, apple, pear, toasty, biscuit, leesy, and autolytic flavours. Nicely balanced with crisp, lively acidity and a fine, elegant mousse. Leesy mineral and floral notes linger on the long, crisp, lip-smacking finish, with excellent length. Tasted June 2023.

On the medium-high intensity nose, this Sangiovese delivers dried red cherry, wood spice, and earthy aromas that are a touch candied, plus whiffs of dried floral, all of which come through on the delicious, medium-full bodied, well-structured palate with dusty and chalky tannins. It has juicy, mouth-watering acidity and a long, savoury finish. Will reward ageing and drink to the end of the decade. Tasted May 2022.

Medium-full to full-bodied palate is dry w/ very good structure & lovely dried red cherry, rose floral, savoury scorched earth, mineral, sweet spice flavours + tangy orange adding complexity. Very good, structured acidity, while youthful, structured & chalky tannins are integrating nicely. Well-balanced w/ red cherry, floral notes + savoury earth & minerals on long, crisp finish w/ excellent length. Tasted Sept. 2024.

Elegant, highly aromatic nose of evergreen, currant, cassis, earthy wood, blackberry, and herbs. It's medium-full to full-bodied with very nice aroma replays plus peppery spice, violet, and floral notes adding further complexity on the flavour profile. Structured with fine-grained tannins and fresh acids. Still a bit young. Juicy with excellent length on the savoury, earthy, and long finish. Tasted Nov. 2021.

Lovely, balanced aroma replays on the flavour profile supported by mouth-watering acids. Some grippiness towards the back end, while the finish length is excellent. Enjoy over the next 10+ years. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it has very good concentration with ripe, lightly honeyed flavours of citrus, pear, quince, and flinty-earthy-leesy minerality. It's supported by fresh, crisp, and lively acidity, and a pleasing textural mouthfeel on the mid-palate. Leesy minerality with citrus, quince, and pear notes linger on the very long, crisp finish. Tasted Apr. 2023. Score: 92+ pts

It is medium to medium-full bodied on the well-structured, dry, and ripe palate with deliciously elegant lemon citrus, stone fruit, apple, quince, and pear replays, plus spicy notes, herbs, and flinty mineral flavours. It is impeccably well-balanced throughout with crisp, juicy acidity, while minerally, herbal, and stone fruit characters linger on the finish, with excellent length. Wow! Tasted Apr. 2023.
