The medium+ intensity nose seems a bit shy, but offers dark fruited aromas of black and blueberry alongside white pepper spice, wood, and touches of floral. It's medium+ bodied with good fruit concentration on the palate and fruit forward flavours of dark berry and blackberry joined by savoury, earthy, white pepper spice, and wood notes supported by fresh acidity and refined, dusty-textured tannins. Lovely floral notes emerge on the mid-palate and linger to the stony mineral finish, with excellent length. Tasted May/2021.

The fresh, medium-high to highly aromatic nose offers a lovely, complex mix of floral, earth, milk chocolate, stony mineral, dark red berry, and violet aromas in a savoury profile. The medium-bodied palate has supple, fine-grained tannins balanced with fresh, vibrant acidity that supports the lovely aroma replays joined by white pepper, slightly spicy notes on the flavour profile. Really well-balanced with stony mineral, dark red berry, and violets lingering on the long, slightly chalky finish. Tasted Apr/2021. Score: 90+ pts

Elegantly fragrant on the nose with ripe lemon citrus, tropical fruit, lemon curd, and peach with touches of sweet vanilla. It is medium-full bodied on the creamy and spicy palate with more lemon, tropical fruit, pineapple, and peach flavours accented with subtle vanilla oak spice notes. It has juicy, mouth-watering acids while vanilla-tinged lemon and leesy notes linger on the long, juicy finish. Tasted Dec/2020.

Aged for 7 months on lees and 28 months sur lattes, this has an elegant, citrusy, hay, orchard fruit, green apple, quince, and pear aromas of generous intensity. On the palate it's dry with elegant and charming bubbles which lift the minerally and spice flavours accented by some autolytic and leesy notes. It has clean acidity that delivers a fine mouthfeel, while the crisp finish has very good length. Tasted June 2024.

It has good weight on the dry, medium+ bodied, elegantly structured palate with delicious, lightly honeyed & ripe flavours of lemon citrus, apple & pear, with touches of hazelnut, mineral & spice adding interest and complexity. It has a nicely textured mouthfeel on the mid-palate, plus very good, bracing acidity. Classic oyster shell mineral notes linger on the long, saliva-inducing finish, with excellent length. It's dry w/ lovely ripe lime-lemon citrus, passion fruit, guava & leesy mineral flavours. Juicy & succulent w/ fresh, balanced & saliva-inducing acidity. From a site next to the Awatere River on stony and silt soils, this has a fairly intense flinty mineral, citrus, herbal, and lemongrass nose that is a touch creamy on the medium+ bodied palate and balanced with lively acids. Nicely textured and quite minerally on palate with herbal and lemon citrus notes that continue through to the finish with excellent length. A serious Sauvignon Blanc for the table to enjoy over the next 4+ years. Tasted Mar/2020. Score: 91+ pts

Fragrant, medium-high intensity nose offers cool aromas of red & black cherries, & red currant w/ whiffs of savoury mushroom, forest floor, cinnamon spice & roses adding intrigue & complexity. It is intensely flavoured on the mid-weighted palate w/ lovely red currant, cran-sour cherry, raspberry, cinnamon spice, roses & red plum flavours, plus minerality & black tea notes. Juicy acids are fresh & lively, while the light tannins are fine-grained w/ good structure. Shows elegance throughout, w/ red currant, cherry, raspberr, & mineral notes lingering on the long, crisp finish. Tasted Dec. 2023.

A blend of 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, and 15% Syrah grown at 400 metres elevation on pebbly limestone terroir that has a ripe, medium-high intensity nose of wild berry, blackberry, sweet and peppery spices. It's medium-full bodied with very nice, ripe fruited aroma replays plus stony mineral and spice adding complexity. Quite structured with fine tannins, balanced acids, and some warmth on the mid-palate. Excellent finish length with a slightly chalky textured mouthfeel on the finish. Tasted Jan/2020.
