Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.

Composed of 95% Sangiovese, 3% Canaiolo, and 2% Colorino grown in Vagliagli UGA, this has a lovely, medium-high intensity, ripe and perfumed nose of sweet spices, red and black cherry aromas. On the medium-full to full-bodied palate it has very good concentration with and very nice aroma replays joined by mineral, tobacco, and herbs adding complexity to the dry flavour profile. It's elegantly structured with youthful, chalky tannins and juicy acidity. Finish is long and warming, yet well-balanced. Tasted May 2022.

This blend of 32% Viognier, 28% Grenache Blanc, 24% Roussanne, and 16% Marsanne has a fresh, medium to medium-high intensity nose of white fleshed orchard fruit, citrus, lemon, and herbal aromas, plus some leesy mineral notes. It is well-structured and impressively concentrated on the medium-full bodied palate with spice touches joining the lovely leesy mineral, citrus, pear, grapefruit flavours in a dry profile. Acids are juicy and well-balanced, while the long finish is savoury, earthy, and minerally. Tasted June 2025. Score: 91+ pts

Blend of mainly Grenache, Clairette, and Syrah, the lovely, medium-high intensity aromatics offer fresh, red fruited aromas of raspberry, strawberry, cherry, and fine mineral notes with hints of citrus and peach. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it is very nicely balanced with raspberry, cherry, strawberry, currant, mineral, and citrus flavours, plus lightly peppery and herbal notes, all lifted by fresh acidity. Minerally, red fruited, and citrus notes linger on the long, juicy, and crisp finish. Tasted May 2022. Score: 91+ pts

Screw cap. Lovely, intense, and elegant nose offers leesy and paraffin aromas mingling with baked apple-pear, stone fruit, herbs, and touches of lemon citrus adding further complexities. The full-bodied palate is rich, creamy, and textured with complex layers of honey, vanilla, oak spice, baked apple-pear, white pepper, white floral, and dried herb flavours in a dry profile. Acids are fresh, zesty, and textured, while leesy mineral with touches of baked apple, dried herb, and citrus linger on the long, juicy, lip-smacking finish. Tasted July 2022.

The rich, ripe, fragrant, and highly aromatic nose offers lovely, elegant aromas of white pear, golden apple, citrus, and vanilla notes, all of which echo very nicely on the dry, medium-full bodied palate and supported by fresh acidity. Subtle oak spice and vanilla notes come through on the zesty mid-palate. Well-balanced throughout with mild spice and vanilla notes lingering on the long, very satisfying finish. Tasted May 2023.

It's quite full and powerful on the palate with some warmth due to the hot vintage, but still well-balanced with floral, lime, and stony flavours and lively, juicy, mouth-watering acidity. Tangy mid-palate with a pleasing chalky texture. Stony mineral notes linger on the long finish. Lovely! Tasted Dec/2020. Score: 91+ pts

It's medium-full bodied on the crisp, dry, and tangy palate with lovely citrusy, apple, pear, toasty, biscuit, leesy, and autolytic flavours. Nicely balanced with crisp, lively acidity and a fine, elegant mousse. Leesy mineral and floral notes linger on the long, crisp, lip-smacking finish, with excellent length. Tasted June 2023.
