Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Highly aromatic on the nose with lovely dark black cherry, dark currant, black raspberry, tea leaf, wet earth, and spice aromas. On the medium to medium-full bodied palate it has very nice, smoky mineral aroma replays to go along with balanced acidity. Fine tannins are smooth and subtly chalky. Excellent length on the finish. Tasted May 2022. Score: 91+ pts

Screw cap. Elegantly fragrant and rich on the nose with ripe tropical fruit, citrus, yellow-fleshed stone fruit, mineral, and touches of white floral aromas rising out of the glass. It's medium+ bodied on the dry, lightly honeyed, and crunchy palate with yellow and white floral, citrus, tropical fruit, and ripe apple flavours that are lifted by clean, crisp, and refreshing acidity. Nicely textured with oyster shell minerals and lemon citrus coming through on the crisp, long, and very satisfying finish. Tasted June 2022. Score: 91 pts

A blend of 50% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc, and 16% Malbec, this has a reductive and fairly intense nose of dark berry, currant, cocoa, oak spice, plum, and blackberry aromas. On the medium-full bodied palate it has tangy dark berry, currant, and cocoa flavours supported by fresh acids and firmly structured tannins. The finish is long and persisting with cocoa, oak spice, and savoury earth notes. Still quite young. Better after 3-5 years of cellar time. Tasted Apr. 2023.

Screw cap. Fresh, medium-high intensity nose is richly structured with orchard fruit, apple, and pear aromas nuanced with subtle oak, butter, lemon citrus, and touches of tropical fruit. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it offers lovely apple, pear, buttery, and citrus replays on the flavour profile and supported by fresh acidity. Well-balanced throughout and impressively structured. More orchard fruits with lemon citrus, and butter with hints of vanilla, tapering to a long, fine, leesy mineral finish. Tasted Sept. 2022.

It's medium-full bodied and well-structured with very good acidity and youthful, structured, and ripe tannins. The juicy palate is dry with pleasing herbal replays, plus some salty and oak spice characters add interest. The finish is long, balanced, and juicy with currant, cassis, and herbal notes. Tasted Apr. 2024. Score: 92+ pts

It's medium+ bodied on the dry, ripe palate with appealing grapefruit, floral, white peach, melon, and citrus flavours that taper to herbal and mineral on the juicy mid-palate. Nicely balanced throughout with fresh acidity. Leesy mineral notes linger on the long, crisp finish. Tasted Sept. 2022. Score: 90+ pts

This 100% Chardonnay has a nose that seems a bit shy and tight, but with some coaxing offers ripe lemon citrus, mineral, apple, melon, and peach aromas with nutty notes emerging with time in the glass. It is beautifully structured on the medium to medium-full bodied on the nicely balanced palate with spicy apple, lemon citrus, melon flavours with a twist of honey. It has fresh and firm acidity, while mineral, nut, and mealy notes emerge on the long, juicy, and mouth-watering finish. Tasted Dec. 2022. Score: 92+ pts

It is impressively weighted and quite structured on the medium-full bodied palate with lactic, mineral, lemon citrus, and green apple flavours supported by juicy, well-balanced acidity. Lemon citrus, apple, and white peach taper to leesy mineral notes on the long, crisp finish. Tasted Jan. 2023.
