This blend of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc, and 22% Merlot has a fragrant, medium-high to highly aromatic nose that is ripe and red fruited with currant and plum aromas accented with earth and gentle oak spice. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it has lovely red fruited and earthy oak spice aroma replays joined by leafy herb complexity, and lifted by fresh and tangy acidity. Smooth tannins are well-integrated, while the finish length is very good. Tasted Mar. 2024.

On the dry, medium+ bodied palate it has lovely ripe orchard fruit, grapefruit, wild herb & citrusy replays, plus pithy, honeysuckle & saline flavours adding complexity. It has crisp, lively acidity, along w/ some spice touches & a very finely textured mouthfeel on the mid-palate. Savoury, leesy & saline mineral notes linger on the long, juicy finish. Acids are fresh & juicy, while the supple, well-structured tannins have a slightly chalky textured grip that will soften. It's medium+ bodied with very good concentration and lovely, elegant, and well-balanced aroma replays echoing on the dry palate, plus some minerality adding further complexity. It has very good structure with well-structured tannins, and juicy acidity. The finish is long, balanced with earthy and touches of saline minerality. Tasted Nov. 2024. Score: 91+ pts
