Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

50/50 Sangiovese and Merlot. Medium-high intensity aromas are focused with cherry, clove, and oak spice. It's medium-full bodied on the structured palate with nicely oak-spiced aroma replays. Acids are very good and juicy. Some warmth. Excellent finish length. Better in 3-4 years and drink by 2028. Tasted Oct/2018.

Highly aromatic with complex oak spiced, incense, mineral, pepper and blackberry notes. Full-bodied on the palate with very nice aroma replays supported by structured tannins and very good, juicy acids. Excellent finish length. Tasted Oct/2017.

Captivating, highly aromatic nose offers elegant and refined aromas of golden apple, buttery, and pear with hints of butterscotch and caramel. It's medium-full bodied and richly layered and textured with lovely aroma replays, plus some touches of waxy and nutty notes. Vibrant acids freshen the palate. Finessed and balanced with excellent length on the long, nutty, toasty finish. Tasted Nov/2019.

Always a blend, the 2016 Stratus Red consists of 25% Cabernet Franc, 23% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Syrah, 10% Malbec, 7% Tannat, and 5% Petit Verdot. It has a rich, medium-high intensity nose of dark berry/cherry, blackberry, and oak spice aromas. It's full-bodied and ripe on the palate with nice replays, plus some vanilla accents. Firm tannins are a touch chalky and will reward ageing, while mouthwatering acids keep things juicy. The long finish has vanilla, spice, and dark berry notes. Best enjoyed after 2-3 years in the cellar. Tasted Nov/2019.

The nose is shy, revealing plummy, dark berry and floral notes. The full-bodied palate is big, dense, concentrated, and structured with very drying, grippy tannins. There's flavours of grilled herb, savoury oak spice and licorice notes. Acids are juicy while finish is excellent. A big wine to cellar away for at least 4-5 years and drink into the mid-2030's. This blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Mazuelo/Graciano has mature characters of red berry, earth, wet forest floor and wood spice aromas and flavours, with more sweet forest floor notes coming through on the medium bodied palate. Nicely balanced with very good acidity and refined tannins that have some grip. Long finish has more wet floor notes. Should develop further into the mid-20's. Tasted Sept/2019.

Fresh, fragrant aromatics deliver floral, purple fruits, violets aromas along with some spice, dark berry, and herbaceous notes. The medium-full bodied palate has lovely, balanced aroma replays supported by medium-firm tannins and very good acidity. Finishes long and herbally. 92% Carmenere and 8% Petit Verdot. Tasted Sept/2019.
