Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Highly aromatic with tobacco, leather, earth, and red fruits in a savoury, elegant style. The palate is medium-to-full bodied with integrated tannins, slightly chalky mouthfeel, and pleasing aroma replays. This is a well-balanced wine with balanced acids, good structure and clean, long finish. Tasted Mar/2015.

Blend of 46% Cab Sauv, 26% Cab Franc, 26% Petit Verdot and 2% Merlot. Organic and biodynamic. Plum and wood aromas from the cork. Highly aromatic earthy, barnyard nose followed by sweet spice and dark berries. It's medium-to-full bodied with dark, brooding and refined tannins. Delicious aroma replays offer rich layers of baking spice, cassis, floral, blackberry, and sweet oak that persist through to the long, slightly warm finish that is supported by excellent fruit concentration and tannin. Acids are mouth-watering. Amazing right now, enjoy until 2025. Tasted Dec/2015.

Slightly oxidative nose of medium+ intensity with notes of hazelnut, bread, toast and minerals. Crisp, mineral-driven aroma replays joined by grapefruit and lime pith notes on the flavour profile. Fine, luscious mousse. Just a touch of sweetness, but effectively dry due to the bright acids. Long, smooth finish. Tasted July/2015.

Highly aromatic nose of peach, pear, butter, and some smoky notes that replay very nicely on the balanced, medium+ bodied palate. There's a fine texture and slight creaminess on the palate. Acids are nicely balanced, while the finish length is excellent. Tasted Apr/2015.

Blend of 65% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, and 15% Corvinone, this highly aromatic Amarone has earthy, iron, fig, dark currant, red licorice and hints of sweet spice. It's medium-full bodied on the palate with silky tannins, nicely balanced and appealing aroma replays that are off-dry. Acids are mouth-watering, while the finish length is very good. Holy moly! This blend of 46% Grenache, 39% Shiraz and 15% Mourvèdre offers gorgeous aromas of red fruit, ripe cherries and subtle milk chocolate. Crushed red berries and blueberries with hints of chocolate and mocha on the palate. Medium-full bodied. Could be aged another 5-6 years. Awesome! Tasted May/2012.

Medium-to-high intensity nose of earth, brett, red cherry and some wood elements. The palate is full-bodied with chalky tannins that provide very good structure to age well. It has juicy acids with flavours of cherry, wood and herbs. Very good length on the finish. Decant and serve now or enjoy over the next decade. Tasted Mar/2016.

Served decanted, this is highly aromatic, offering nicely perfumed bramble, cran-cherry, floral, and sweet baking spice aromas. It's full-bodied with dusty, refined tannins and lovely aroma replays. It has juicy acids, very good tannic structure for ageing, and excellent length on the finish. An elegant wine from a highly prized vintage. Bordeaux blend. Will be better in a few years. Tasted Oct/2016.
