Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Le Volte Dell'ornellaia 2017, Igt Toscana

The baby Ornellaia is a blend of 50% Merlot, 30% Sangiovese, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium-high intensity nose of currant, earth, dark berry, and brambly aromas with subtle oak nuance. It's full-bodied with a dense, concentrated palate. Dark berry, dark plum and oak spice flavours join the lovely aroma replays on the palate. It has juicy acids and rich tannins. Long finishing with spice and dark cherry notes. Tasted July/2019.

Blend of Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro that has funky mineral, followed by dark berry, briary aromas. It if full-bodied and dense with supple, well-integrated tannins that offer some grip. Nice aroma replays on the flavour profile with subtle oak notes. It has juicy acids and a long, balanced finish. Tasted July/2019.

100% Pinot Noir that is fresh and vibrant with red berry, red currant, cherry, grapefruit, and citrus aromas that are a touch honeyed. The medium+ bodied palate is fleshy with good fruit concentration and a touch viscous. Nicely dry aroma replays on the flavour profile with touches of mineral on the crisp finish, with very good length. Tasted July/2019.

Blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, and 7% Petit Verdot. Medium-high to high intensity aromatics feature lovely red cherries, dried floral, graphite, cedar oak, and some savoury notes mingling in between, all of which appears very nicely on the balanced flavour profile. It's full-bodied with gritty tannins and vibrant acids. Long, juicy finish. Enjoy over the next 5-7 years. Tasted Aug/2019.
Gabriel Meffre Laurus Châteauneuf Du Pape 2015, Ac

A rather early maturing blend of 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah that has a medium-high to high intensity nose of white pepper, spice, blackberry, complex oak spice, and stewed berry characters. It is medium-bodied and dry with some savoury and blackberry notes joining the aromas replays on the palate. It is structured with finely grained tannins and very good acidity. Shows finesse and elegance on the finish, with excellent length. Tasted Aug/2019.
