Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

From the long and hot 2016 vintage, this offers a medium-high intensity nose that is spicy with black pepper and earth aromas. It is medium-full bodied on the palate with nice, spicy aroma replays, plus dark currant, dark berry, oak, and earthy flavours supported by fresh acidity. Nicely balanced with gritty tannins, while the finish length is very good. 28% Syrah, 28% Merlot, 19% Cab Franc, 14% Cab Sauv, 8% Petit Verdot, and 2% Malbec. Tasted Jan/2019.

Fragrant, highly aromatic nose offers nutty and lanolin aromas. The medium-full bodied palate is structured with very good fruit concentration and white and yellow fruit, and apple flavours. This has a meaty, dark berry, black plum, black cherry, and oak spice nose of medium-high intensity. It is medium-full bodied on the palate with soft, rounded tannins and earthy/meaty aroma replays. Nicely balanced with very good acidity and fine length on the finish. Tasted Nov/2018.

Medium-high intensity nose with cherry, spice, herbs, and red pepper nuances that also come through on the medium-full bodied palate. Supple tannins are supported by vibrant acidity. Nicely balanced with very good fruit concentration. Very good finish length. Merlot, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasted Oct/2018.

Subtle apple, pear and grapefruit nose. On the medium-bodied palate it is bright with crisp and vibrant acids, and slightly off-dry flavours of lemon/lime, apple, grapefruit and a whiff of honey and petrol. A touch fleshy with very good fruit extraction. Excellent finish length. Tasted Nov/2018.

Medium-high intensity nose is ripe and a touch candied with red and black fruits, currant, and cassis aromas. It's medium-full bodied and balanced with more cassis and currant flavours. Juicy mid-palate with fresh acids, while fine tannins are a touch drying. Very good length on the finish. Enjoy over the next 5-6 years. Tasted Jan/2019.

Subtle nose of dark cherry/berry, spice, and a whiff of tea leaf. It is medium-bodied with good fruit concentration and fresh, balanced acids. It has nicely balanced aroma replays, plus some stemmy characters. Very good length on the balanced finish with some tannic grip. Will be better in 1-2 years after tannins have time to flesh out. Tasted Aug/2019.
