Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Fresh, medium-high to highly aromatic nose exudes elegance with ripe red & black fruits, strawberry, cassis, red currant, wood spices & black cherry aromas, plus savoury cocoa and clove adding further complexity. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it has an elegant mouthfeel & ripe, fine-grained tannins which support the ripe black cherry, currant, cassis, bright red berry, strawberry, and raspberry flavours accented by fine oak spice. Acids are juicy and well-balanced, with a slight tangy red berry character. Savoury, earthy notes linger on the very long & smooth finish. Tasted Oct. 2024.

Mainly Sangiovese with a small percentage of Merlot, this has a lovely, medium to medium-high intensity nose of red cherry, floral, rose petal, sweet baking spice, and cinnamon aromas. The medium+ bodied palate is dry and a touch spicy with lovely aroma replays that echo on the flavour profile. It has very good, juicy acidity, alongside smooth, well-structured tannins. Lovely sweet spice and red cherry notes linger on the long, well-balanced finish. Tasted Nov. 2024.

Blend of 70% Corvina, 15% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta, and 5% Molinara. Medium-to-high intensity aromatics with rich notions of dried fruit, floral, tomato leaf, and fig. It's plush, dense and mouthwatering on the full bodied palate with terrific sweet and savoury aroma replays. Very good structure, bright acids, and excellent length on the finish. Highly aromatic with lovely notions of floral, raspberry, cherry and mineral notes with very nice aroma replays on the palate. It's full-bodied with good structure, depth and well-balanced. It has mouth-watering acids and smooth, refined tannins. Finishes long with slight earthy tones. Drink over the next decade. Outstanding! Tasted July/2015.

Very nice minty, cassis, oak and green/herbal aromas that are in complete harmony. Full-bodied and slightly round mouthfeel with mouth-watering acidity. Palate has very nice aroma replays and is well-balanced throughout. Tannins are well integrated and finishes long and very smooth. Drinking superbly now. Tasted Apr/2013.

Consisting of 84% Cab Sauv, 8% Merlot and 8% Cab Franc. Sweet plum drops and incense aromas. Medium-full bodied and very smooth with blackcurrant, cassis, dark fruits on the palate. Very nicely integrated tannins and a long, dark finish that is silky smooth. Tasted Dec/2012.

The poem on the front is a verse from "Keep a Few Embers From the Fire" by Canadian poet Chief Dan George. Bottle 348 of 2,664, this has a reductive nose of yellow pear, toasted nuts and some subtle baking spice notes. On the palate it has vibrant acidity on a honeyed flavoured profile with hints of pineapple, Golden apple, butter and vanilla. Medium-bodied with a slight oily and creamy texture. It's mouth-watering throughout, while the finish length is excellent. A special wine that should mature well over the next 5-6 years. Tasted Dec/2015.
