Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Highly aromatic nose has attractive aromas of limestone minerality, orange citrus, blossom, and peach. The off-dry, mid-weighted palate has succulent acids supporting the lovely aroma replays and joined by apple and spice notes on the flavour profile. Excellent length on the long and crisp finish. Tasted Apr. 2018.

This blend of 96% Chardonnay and 4% Pinot Noir was aged for 9 years prior to release. It is highly aromatic with lovely floral, lemon citrus, apple, yeasty, fresh bread aromas. The palate is really well-balanced with fine bubbles and mousse, along with crisp acids and mouthfeel. It's dry with honeyed lemon citrus flavours and the finish length is excellent. Fresh, medium-high to high intensity aromatics are fresh with red berry, cherry, sweet baking spice, and vanilla aromas. The palate is medium-full bodied with fine, supple tannins that are a touch grippy. Lovely, balanced aroma replays on the palate along with a juicy mid-palate. Nicely balanced throughout, while the finish is long and graceful. 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, and 5% Mazuelo. Tasted Sept/2019.

Fascinating to see a single clone Cab Franc from Niagara, this has a medium+ intensity nose of ripe cassis, currant, blackberry, dark cherry and tobacco aromas, while the medium+ bodied palate is a bit chewy with fine, structured tannins. Bright vibrant acids lift the palate that has very nice aroma replays with some earthy tones on the mid-palate, and finishing long with tobacco notes. Nicely balanced overall, this will drink nicely over the next 5-6 years. Tasted Jan/2018.

Earthy, umami, forest floor, and savoury with hints of cherry and clove aromas with high intensity. On the medium-full bodied palate, this has chalky tannins and nice savoury aroma replays plus some dark berry and blackberry flavours. Acids are very good. Rustic, savoury and earthy on the long finish. Tasted Sept/2017.

The medium-intensity nose offers white pepper, blackberry, dark cherry, and earthy oak spice. The palate is full-bodied with thick, chunky tannins and nice dark fruited aroma replays. The medium-high intensity nose seems shy, but offers bright cherry, clove, baking spice, and some dried cherry and flower aromas. It's medium-bodied on the palate with very nice aroma replays and smooth, fine tannins. Finely balanced overall with fresh acids. Shows excellent length on the finish with earth and forest floor notes. Tasted Oct/2017.
