Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.

The highly aromatic nose delivers lovely fig, raisin, dried dark berry compote, cocoa, and slightly bitter notes with a savoury core. On the full-bodied, structured palate, it has savoury, cocoa, and spice replays supported very good acidity and polished, textured, and structured tannins. The finish is long with savoury cocoa and earthy notes, with excellent length. Last tasted Nov/2021.

Made with Chardonnay, this has a highly aromatic, elegant, and complex nose of lemon, nut, brioche, citrus, autolytic, and pastry notes. It is full-bodied with nutty, honeyed, and grapefruit citrus characters on the flavour profile. It has fine mousse and very good, balanced acidity, and a very long aftertaste. A fine vintage bubbly. Blend of 94% Tempranillo and 6% Mazuelo, the medium-high intensity nose has lovely, maturing dried cherry, floral, sweet spice, oak vanillin, earthy, and savoury aromas that also come through on the full-bodied, concentrated palate. It's supported by fine-grained, mouth-coating tannins and juicy acidity which linger through to the long, structured finish. Tasted Sept/2019.

Highly aromatic nose that is notably reductive, eventually revealing green pepper, herb, and citrus aromas. It is medium-full bodied and nicely textured with guava, tropical fruit, kiwi, and tree fruit flavours. Acids are fresh. Tangy notes arrive mid-palate and continue through to the long finish. Highly aromatic nose is on the savoury side with bretty and barnyard notes, along with some cherry, olive, oak and floral. The palate is medium-full bodied with lovely aroma replays and firm, structured tannins. Acids are mouth-watering, and it has a long, dark cherry finish. Excellent! Tasted Oct/2016.

Fragrant, medium-high to highly aromatic nose leads with savoury meaty notes, mingling with spices, garrigue, kirsch, dark berry, black cherry, and blackberry aromas. Impressively concentrated on the medium-full to full-bodied palate, it has savoury, earthy, and green herb flavours surrounding a dark berry, garrigue, and kirsch flavoured core. There's a touch of warmth on the mid-palate, but not out balance, along with fresh, juicy acidity, and smooth, refined, lightly chalky tannins. Finishes savoury with stony minerals on the long finish. Tasted May 2022.
