Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.

Beautifully fragrant and highly aromatic nose of sweet spices, raspberry, and strawberry notes with a sheen of vanilla. It's medium to medium-full bodied with very good weight and structure on the palate. Lovely sweet spices, raspberry, and strawberry replays, plus touches of cedary oak and cherry adding further interest. Tannins are lightly grippy and supported by fresh acidity. Excellent finish length. Still a bit young and a beauty! Tasted Apr. 2023. Score: 93+ pts

Elegantly fragrant on the nose with ripe lemon citrus, tropical fruit, lemon curd, and peach with touches of sweet vanilla. It is medium-full bodied on the creamy and spicy palate with more lemon, tropical fruit, pineapple, and peach flavours accented with subtle vanilla oak spice notes. It has juicy, mouth-watering acids while vanilla-tinged lemon and leesy notes linger on the long, juicy finish. Tasted Dec/2020.

Lovely, intense, and ripe aromas of lemon citrus, melon, and grapefruit with touches of tropical fruit, all underpinned by fine, stony minerality. It has very good fruit concentration on the medium-full bodied palate with ripe, slightly honeyed and gently spicy flavours of lemon citrus, melon, grapefruit, apple, peach, and tropical fruits framed by fresh and elegant acidity. Nicely balanced throughout with fine, leesy mineral notes lingering on the long, crisp finish. Tasted Dec. 2022.

It has a lovely, very attractive, and highly aromatic nose of elegant citrus, grapefruit, lemon, brioche, pastry, and autolytic characters. The palate is crisp, clean, and dry with lovely aroma replays and notable citrusy and lemon pith flavours. Biscuit and citrusy flavours linger on the crisp, dry, and exceptionally long, balanced finish. Tasted Nov. 2022. Score: 93+ pts

Lovely, slowly emerging & complex aromas of Indian spices, red and black cherry, underbrush, forest floor, olive, pot pourri & sandalwood rise out of the glass. It's medium-full to full-bodied with very good depth & delicious flavours of red and black cherry, spices, cedar wood, underbrush, and forest floor in a dry, lightly tangy profile. It has very good, juicy acidity, while the well-structured, dusty textured tannins are lightly chalky & grippy on the back palate. Cedary, sandalwood, and earthy notes linger on the long savoury finish, with excellent length. Tasted June 2023. Score: 92+ pts

It has fresh, juicy & well-balanced acidity, while structured tannins are smooth, refined & well-integrated. Subtle chalky mouthfeel on back palate. Savoury, graphite mineral notes on long finish. Very good, structured acidity, while youthful, structured & chalky tannins are integrating nicely. Well-balanced w/ red cherry, floral notes + savoury earth & minerals on long, crisp finish w/ excellent length. Tasted Sept. 2024.
