Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.
Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

Lovely, highly aromatic and very complex nose is buttery, flinty, smoky, and minerally with pear and yellow apple aromas. It has very nice aroma replays joined by saline notes on the full-bodied, concentrated palate. Acids are well-balanced on the long, juicy finish. Gorgeous! Tasted Jan/2020.

This Sangiovese has savoury and earthy, medium-high intensity aromas of wet earth, brett, and oak spice in a reductive profile. On the medium-full to full-bodied palate it has very good concentration and a crunchy mouthfeel with savoury aroma replays plus notes of truffle, mocha, and herbs. Structured with supple tannins and very good acidity. Wet earth notes linger on the long, balanced finish. Tasted May 2022.

Crafted with 100% Chardonnay that was partially barrel fermented and then aged for 54 months on the lees, it has an elegant, complex, and highly aromatic nose of citrus, lemon, smoky, flint, autolytic, biscuit, ripe apple and pear aromas. It's medium-full bodied and dry on the palate with lovely smoky, clayey, earthy flavours mingling with lemony citrus and peach notes. It has crisp, clean acidity and a fine, beaded mousse. The finish is long, clean, and fresh. Tasted Apr. 2023.

The fresh, perfumed medium-high to highly aromatic nose offers captivating aromas of sweet wood spice, tangy red cherry, citrusy aromas. The dry, full-bodied palate is firmly structured with lovely aroma replays echoing on the palate. It has fresh acidity and big, firm tannins that need time to unwind.
