13th Street June's Vineyard Chardonnay 2023, Sustainable, VQA Ontario

This unoaked Chardonnay is delicate and fresh, with medium+ intensity aromas of apple, pear, and orchard fruit, along with some citrusy, cream, and earthy mineral aromas rising out of the glass. The medium+ bodied palate is dry and very nicely textured with delicious pear, apple, and citrus replays on the flavour profile, and joined by earthy minerals adding complexity and interest. It has fresh and zesty acidity. A touch spicy on the fresh, savoury, and earthy mineral finish. Tasted May 2025.

This blend of 87% Pinot Noir, 7% Viognier, and 6% Chardonnay has a medium+ to medium-high intensity nose of ripe and bright red cherry, strawberry, and citrus aromas joined by some savoury pepper spice and mineral notes. The medium to medium-full bodied palate is dry with lovely strawberry, watermelon, cherry, and savoury spice flavours supported by juicy acidity. It's nicely textured with clean berry notes on the long finish. Tasted May 2025. Score: 90+ pts

There's some sweetness to the off-dry, nicely textured palate with delicious orange, lemon drop, and citrus flavours supported by clean and zesty acidity. Well-balanced with very good length on the slightly mineral finish. Tasted May 2025.

The light to mid-weighted palate is dry, zesty, and fresh, with crunchy yellow apple, lemon citrus, and pear flavours nuanced with peppery spice and stony minerality. Clean and well-balanced throughout with fresh and vibrant acidity. Delicious yellow apple and lemon citrus notes taper to leesy-stony minerals on the long, crisp, and juicy finish. Tasted June 2025.

On the dry, medium to medium-full bodied it has delicious peppery spice replays, plus red berry fruits buoyed by slightly tart acidity. It's crisply textured, while the finish is spiced and tangy, with very good length. Tasted May 2025.

Lovely, medium-high intensity nose of ripe lemon citrus aromas are joined by hints of stony and earthy minerals and fresh Mediterranean herbs in a well-balanced manner. The medium to medium-full bodied palate is dry and crunchy with deliciously ripe and well-balanced aroma replays on the flavour profile, plus spice, yellow apple, and pear notes adding further interest. It's nicely textured with very good acidity. Minerally notes linger on the long, clean, and well-balanced finish. Tasted July 2025.

It's medium-full bodied and dry with a very nice, richly rounded and textured mouthfeel. Appealing flavours of pear, apple, lemon citrus, honey, pastry, and biscuit. It has clean acidity and elegant mousse. The long, balanced finish has excellent length. Tasted May 2025. Score: 91+ pts
