Château Le Temple 2015, Ac Médoc

This a very nice Bordeaux with aromas of plum, candied cherry, herbs, cassis and oak. The palate was the same along with a nice herbal (mint) and spice taste that was backed up by soft tannins and good acidity. Great food wine

Osoyoos Larose Le Grand Vin 2016, BC VQA Okanagan Valley

This had sediment, but the colour showed no signs of aging. The wine had medium (+) aromas of plum, black cherry, blackberry, tilled soil, violet, maraschino cherry, & bell pepper. It was fruity on the nose and palate but not overripe. Medium (+) acidity with medium (-) tannins, which were high on opening. I wish I had another bottle. May 2024

45% Pinot, 45% Meunier, and 10% Chardonnay. Lovely lavender, cheese, and toast aromas.

It's crisp on the tongue with honey, marmalade, freshly squeezed lemon, and brioche. Lovely stuff.

If you're not a fan of bell pepper notes stay away even though it's well done here. Aromas of bell pepper, cocoa, anise, and perfume. A juicy wine with flavours of blackberry, bell pepper, oak, cardamom, and vanilla. Medium plus acidity with soft tannins. Oct 2023

Radford Dale Vinum Chenin Blanc 2018, Stellenbosch

Nice complex white with oak on the nose and palate along with honey, apricot, pear, cream ,banana and even a hint of pepper at the end. Went well with spicy dish.

Château Pierre De Montignac 2015, Cru Bourgeois, Ap Médoc

Some earthy aromas along oak, cassis, dried fruit and plum. Palate of oak, cassis, black cherry, plum ,bell pepper and licorice. Some dusty tannins that soften after an hour.

Treana Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, Paso Robles

Here we have a wine, perfect for the BBQ season, crafted by the team behind Austin Hope.

The wine offers a bouquet of vanilla, oak, blackberry and cola. On the palate, you will experience similar flavours, along with hints of cherry and smoke. Medium acidity and soft tannins.

Compared to the 2017 vintage, this one has a more refined fruity taste. - May 2024

Rutherford Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, Napa Valley

This wine felt like I was smelling a South American wine at some point and southern Rhone the next but never Napa.

Aromas of game, bell pepper, red plum, Indian spice (turmeric), cherry, and perfume. Flavors of vanilla, black cherry, bell pepper, cherry Cola, pepper, mint, and tree bark after some time. Fine soft grain tannins with medium acidity. Fantastic with BBQ ribs- Sept 2023
