This blend of 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot has a fresh, medium-high intensity nose of oak spice supporting the rich black & red fruits, currant, and cassis aromas. It's full-bodied on the dry, well-structured palate with lovely currant, cassis, blackberry, and savoury oak flavours. The fresh acidity takes you into the crunchy and spiced mid-palate. It has nicely balanced flavour replays on the long finish, with a touch of warmth. Tasted May 2024.

Lovely, elegant, and a touch reductive with red and black cherry, savoury earth, black raspberry, strawberry, and fine wood spice aromas rise out of the glass with medium-high intensity and impressive complexity. It's medium+ bodied with very good concentration and lovely, elegant, and well-balanced aroma replays echoing on the dry palate, plus some minerality adding further complexity. It has very good structure with well-structured tannins, and juicy acidity. The finish is long, balanced with earthy and touches of saline minerality. Tasted Nov. 2024. Score: 91+ pts

This pure Sangiovese has a fresh, open, and a touch maturing nose of red cherry, wet earth, mushroom, desiccated cherry, and dried floral aromas. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate, it has delicious aroma replays that echo on the palate in a maturing flavour profile. It has well-balanced acidity and creamy tannins. A touch hot on the mid-palate, while the finish is long, savoury, and sweet spiced. Tasted Oct. 2023.

The fresh, bright nose is fruit forward with dark red cherry aromas nuanced with spices and dark minerals of medium-high intensity. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it has structured and grippy tannins and lovely dark cherry, red berry, spice, and mineral flavours. Lively acids are juicy and well-balanced. Lovely curranty, cassis, and spice notes linger on the long, crisp, and well-balanced finish. Tasted May 2024.

Bright nose of medium-high intensity is fragrant & open, with a lovely mélange of orange peel, floral, and bitters + some honeyed undertones. Medium-full bodied palate is pleasantly sweet with very good concentration, and lovely orange peel, caramel, floral & bitter flavours, plus tangy citrus, honey, mineral & spice notes adding complexity. It's got a nice, textural mouthfeel, along with crisp, well-balanced acidity. There's some palate warmth, but still within balance, while the flavours are more minerally on mid-palate & continues through to the long, dry & savoury finish. Tasted Mar. 2025.

It's medium-full bodied, dry, and has very good concentration with delicious aroma replays supported by well-balanced acidity. It has a creamy mouthfeel, while touches of mineral join the flavour profile on the finish, with very good length. Tasted Oct. 2024. Score: 88+ pts

It's medium+ bodied and dry with lovely, well-balanced aroma replays supported by clean acidity and a viscous mouthfeel. The mid-palate is slightly tangy, while mineral touches join the flavour profile on the finish, with very good length. Tasted Apr. 2025.

2009 vintage. Very long nose with butter and apple aromatics joined by some tropical fruits. Begins very smooth with aromas replays on the palate, long finish is a bit spicy. Tasted Sept/2012.

Pours a mature golden yellow colour. Mature nose of medium-high intensity with aromas of wax, honey, citrus, and peach. It's medium+ bodied and off-dry with honeyed, citrusy, and peach flavours. Acids are a bit low, but still well-balanced. Pleasant, chalky-textured mouthfeel. Waxy, citrus, and mineral oil notes linger on the long, lip-smacking finish. Tasted Sept. 2022.
