Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.
Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

Tenute Silvio Nardi Brunello Di Montalcino 2013, Docg
Tuscany, Italy$46.95
Medium-high to highly aromatic nose offers lovely notes of dark red cherry, clove, and cinnamon spice aromas surrounding a savoury, earthy, and forest floor core. It is full-bodied and dense with lovely aroma replays, plus some iron and tobacco flavours that add complexity. Acids are fresh, while the big tannins are integrating well, but still on the young side. Cherry and spice notes linger on the finish, with excellent length. Tasted July/2019.
Lazzeretti Brunello Di Montalcino 2013, Docg
Tuscany, Italy$46.95
Highly aromatic nose offers lovely, complex notions of dark cherry, blackberry, cherry, clove spice, woodspice, floral aromas surrounding a savoury, earthy core. It's full-bodied with very nice spice, dark cherry and floral characters on the palate and supported by structured tannins and juicy, mouthwatering acids. Nicely balanced throughout with excellent length on long, earthy, cherry, and tobacco scented finish. Enjoy throughout the decade. Tasted Jan/2020. Score: 91+ pts

The medium-high intensity nose offers limestone mineral, peach, apricot and ripe lemon citrus and stone fruit aromas. It's off-dry on the palate with honeyed herbal and green apple flavours plus stone fruit aroma replays. Bright acids are juicy, while the long finish is clean with some bitterness. Tasted Apr/2018. Score: 90+ pts
