Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.
Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

A blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, this has a medium-high intensity nose that is ripe with lemon sherbet, yeasty, fresh citrus and floral aromas and flavours. The palate is dry with crisp, balanced acids and flavours that show some maturity with touches of brioche and autolytic characters. Mousse is quite fine and the finish is long and crisp. Domaine Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir 2016, Dundee Hills

Medium+ intensity nose has a spicy and funky nose off the top, revealing pleasant raspberry, cherry, beetroot, and whiffs of tea leaf aromas. It is light-to-mid weighted with sweet spice, tea leaf, dark cherry/berry characters on the palate with refined tannins offering some grip along with juicy, balanced acidity. The finish length is excellent. Tasted Aug/2019.
