Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.
Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

Frescobaldi Castello Di Pomino Pomino Bianco 2017, Doc
Tuscany, Italy$19.95
This interesting blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco delivers a medium+ intensity nose that is earthy/mineral with lemon peel, and pear aromas. It's medium+ bodied with balanced, bracing acidity that brightens the palate with pleasing notes of pear, peach, and stone fruit flavours that linger through the finish, with very good length. Tasted Nov/2019.
Domäne Wachau Terrassen Federspiel Grüner Veltliner 2018, Dac Wachau
Wachau, Austria$17.95
Medium+ intensity nose is bright and perfumed with slatey mineral, pear, and lemon aromas. It's medium-bodied with clean acidity and some saltiness on the mid-palate which leads to mineral and lime notes on the long finish. Tasted Nov/2019.
Thornbury Sauvignon Blanc 2018, Marlborough, South Island
Marlborough, New Zealand$18.95
Tasted Nov/2019.
Tussock Jumper Chenin Blanc 2019, Wo Western Cape
Western Cape, South Africa$12.95
Ripe, fragrant nose of lemon peel and citrus with herbal hints. It's medium-bodied with clean acidity and a ripe flavour profile with apple, citrus, and touches of hay and grassy notes. Very good finish length. Tasted Dec/2019.
Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio Trentino Riserva 2017
Alto Adige-Trentino, Italy$17.95
Majority barrel-fermented, this Pinot Grigio has a fragrant, medium+ intensity, oak-influenced nose of apple, pear, butter, and vanilla. It's medium-full bodied, creamy, and well-structured on the palate with nice aroma replays. Juicy acids are nicely balanced, while vanilla and oak notes linger on the finish, with very good length. Tasted Dec/2019.
Echeverria Gran Reserva Pinot Noir 2017, Leyda Valley
Casablanca Valley, Chile$15.95
Tasted Dec/2019.
