Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Medium-to-high intensity, slightly sweet aromas from the glass with notions of honeysuckle, floral and spring flowers. On the palate, it's medium+ bodied with balanced acids and very nice off-dry aroma replays, while the finish is long and smooth. Well-balanced overall. Tasted May/2015.

Screw cap. Quite aromatic with crisp citrus, guava, kiwi and hints of gooseberry. On the palate, it's juicy with crisp, balanced acids and a flavour profile filled with pleasing aroma replays and hints of fresh cut grass. Dry, well-balanced with a fine mineral streak on the medium-long finish. Tasted May/2015. Score: 88+ pts

Rosehall Run The Righteous Dude Riesling 2014, VQA Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Peninsula

Elegant citrus, orange, melon and Flintstones vitamin aromas which replay nicely on the balanced, medium-dry palate. It's medium-bodied with crisp acidity and a lingering, minerally finish. Well done! Tasted Sept/2015.

Nose seemed somewhat closed with hints of cherry and strawberry that followed through on the palate with some oak spice flavours. It has fresh acids and finishes long. Tasted Apr/2015.

Medium intensity aromas with focused blackberry, cherry and forest floor notes. It has refined tannins, fresh acids and pleasing aroma replays on the palate. Chocolatey, long finish. Good balance overall. Tasted May/2015.

Perfumed medium-to-high intensity aromas of citrus, peach, and melon. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with bright acidity and pleasing, medium-dry aroma replays. Slightly tart with a minerally aftertaste. Yummy. Tasted June/2015.

La Cadierenne Cuvée Grande Tradition Bandol Rosé 2014, Ac

Blend of 40% Mouvèdre, 30% Grenache, and 30% Cinsault. Fresh peaches, nectarines and spring flower aromas from the cork. Elegant white peach, citrus and floral nose, with some herbally notes adding complexity. The palate is dry and quite full-ish with flavours of blood orange, grapefruit and strawberry. Has nice, crisp acidity and good length on the finish. Pairs well with salmon. Tasted June/2015.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Perfumed floral, citrus, tart strawberry and sweet pepper aromas. Medium-bodied palate with strawberry, rhubarb and subtle spice notes. A touch off-dry (i.e. slightly sweet). Very good, balanced acids. Medium+ length finish. Tasted June/2015.

Inniskillin Montague Vineyard Chardonnay 2013, VQA Four Mile Creek, Niagara Peninsula

9 months in new French oak, this white wine is somewhat shy but exhibited vanilla, ripe pear, apple, butter and some toasted oak aromas. It's creamy on the full-bodied with elegant, pleasing aroma replays along with hints of butterscotch. Balanced acids and good length on the finish, I expect this to improve with air. Tasted Jan/2016.
