Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

The Ned Pinot Gris 2013

Salmon pink coloured, medium+ nose that smells off-dry. Notes of orange and lemon aromas from the glass. Palate is medium+ bodied and dry with flavours consisting of grapefruit, zippy spice, and Flintstones vitamins. Balanced acids and long, warm finish. Serve nicely chilled. Tasted May/2014.

Medium nose with aromas of butter, apple and pear notes. Medium-bodied with good depth and nice aroma replays. Balanced with good acids and long, smooth, buttery finish. Tasted Oct/2013.

Medium-high aromas of lychee and floral. Lightweighted with nicely balanced aroma replays and minerality. It's off-dry (slightly sweet) with a crisp mouthfeel. Has good acids and a long finish. Classic Gewurz. Tasted Apr/2014.

Highly aromatic and inviting nose of honeysuckle, elderflower, floral and white peach aromas with very nice, pleasing aroma replays on the palate. Nicely balanced acids lengthy finish. It's sweet and can be enjoyed as an apertif, with spicy dishes or dessert. Tasted May/2015.

Black plum, licorice and cedar aromas from the cork. Perfumed medium intensity nose that is wood-influenced with undertones of black cherry, spices and hints of brett. The palate is medium-bodied with well-integrated tannins and bright, mouth-watering acids. Delicious currant, clove, leather, and cedar flavour profile. Pleasing purple fruit and earthy notes on the lingering finish. Tasted Sept/2015.

Light honeysuckle aromas from the cork. Sweet ripe orchard fruits, pear, with a mineral streak and hints of peach aromas of medium intensity. The palate is sour-edged with green apple and herbaceous flavours. It has fresh acids and good length on the finish. Tasted Apr/2015.

Medium-high aromas consisting of apple, buttered popcorn and mineral. Restrained oak notes are nicely balanced. Medium+ bodied and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Complex aroma replays joined by nutty and mineral notes. Fresh acidity that is nicely balanced. Slightly warm on the mid-palate and a lengthy finish. Tasted Apr/2014.

100% Tempranillo. Prune and cedar oak aromas from the cork. Black cherry, mulberry surrounded by forest floor and earthy aromas of medium intensity. The palate is medium bodied with silky, refined tannins and balanced acidity. Good complexity on the palate with flavours of black cherry, resin, light oak spice and pepper that linger through to the long finish, which also has hints of mocha. Enjoy over the next couple of years. Tasted May/2015.
