Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.

This 80/20 blend of Syrah and Grenache has darker fruited aromas of black cherry, blackberry, savoury earth, dried spices, and pepper, of medium+ intensity. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it is well-structured with lovely aroma replays echoing on the palate and supported by well-balanced acidity. It has good tannic structure on the mid-palate. Smooth and refined, with nice flavour replays on the well-structured, harmonious finish, with very good length. Tasted Jan. 2025.

Good weight on medium-full bodied & dry palate w/ delicious ripe red & black berry, cran-cherry, plum & dried herb flavours w/ touches of stony minerality. Quite savoury on the mid-palate, along with fresh, juicy acidity. Tannins are smooth, refined & lightly structured. Nicely balanced & harmonious throughout w/ plummy berry notes tapering to savoury minerals on the lengthy, gently grippy finish. Tasted Jan. 2025.

The dry, medium-full bodied palate is ripe & sweetly fruited w/ delish blackcurrant, black cherry, savoury oak spice & earthy flavours, along w/ hints of cassis & plum. Acids are fresh, juicy & succulent, while the smooth, well-structured tannins feel a bit tight. Composed with a sense of elegance, nicely balanced w/ lovely flavour replays + mineral notes on long, savoury finish. Tasted Jan. 2025.

Elegant, medium to medium-high intensity aromas offer a minerally and white pepper spiced nose followed by red currant, raspberry, and cherry aromas. It has gritty and grainy textured tannins on the medium to medium-full bodied and dry palate. Lovely white pepper spice, currant, cherry, and raspberry aroma replays on the flavour profile are layered over subtle savoury wet earth characters. It's well-balanced with fresh acidity carrying the aromas and flavours through to the finish, with very good length. Tasted Nov. 2023.
