Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

A blend of 45% Tinta Roriz, 30% Touriga Franca, and 25% Touriga Nacional that was aged for 9 months in French oak. Medium+ intensity nose of blackberry, oak spice, vanilla and black plums. The medium-bodied palate offers more blackberry and vanilla notes supported by mouth-watering acidity and finely-grained tannins. There's some earthy nuances on the mid-palate that linger through to the long finish joined by some woody spice notes. Enjoy over the next 3 years. Tasted Sept/2019. Score: 88+ pts

American oak inflected, wood spice, cinnamon aromas that are layered over dark red cherry notes. The medium-bodied palate has nice aroma replays on the flavour profile led by red cherry spice notes. It has chalky tannins and refreshing acidity. Long, spiced finish with very good length. Tasted Aug/2019.

Fragrant, ripe tropical fruit, guava, and kiwi with underlying grassy and herb notes. It has crisp acids on a light-to-mid weighted frame with more grassy and tropical fruit notes on the nicely balanced palate. Long finish is taut and crisp. Tasted Aug/2019.

Medium+ intensity nose is herbally with stone fruit aromas that are a touch reductive and offer whiffs of flinty minerality. It has very good fruit depth on the medium-full bodied palate with herbally, tarragon, citrus, and floral flavours. Clean, balanced acidity and a long, herbally finish. Tasted Aug/2019.

This blend of 65% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre is ripe with red berry, black spices, plum, and raspberry aromas of medium+ intensity. The medium-full bodied palate is fleshy with good fruit concentration and nice aroma replays accented by black tea, spice, and plum flavours. Textured tannins are structured and a touch chalky, while the juicy finish has very good length. Very good complexity overall. Tasted Oct/2019.
