Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

This blend of 52% Grenache, 38% Shiraz, and 10% Mataro has a bright, medium-high intensity nose featuring red fruited, black raspberry, cherry, peppery spice, and red cherry. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it has rounded tannins and juicy, well-balanced acidity. The aromas echo on the nicely balanced palate, leading to peppery and savoury spice notes on the finish, with very good length. Tasted May 2025.

The fragrant, medium-high intensity nose delivers attractive ripe red cherry, rose floral, ,orange rind, and red berry aromas accented with savoury earth and herbs. On the dry, medium-bodied palate it has rounded and supple tannins with lovely orange, red berry, cherry, and sweet spice replays supported by juicy and crisp acidity. The rounded mid-palate has a mildly tannic grip. The long finish is a touch warming with earthy and cherry notes. Tasted Apr. 2025.

The medium-high intensity nose is fresh with attractive sweet cassis, red currant, mostly red, plus some black fruit, and touches of red candied cherry aromas. It's full-bodied and dry on the palate with lovely red fruited aroma replays supported by elegant, structured, and slightly grippy tannins. It has fresh and lively acidity, while the finish is long and well-balanced. Tasted Nov. 2023.

The medium+ intensity nose offers peach, stone fruit, lemon citrus, orange and honey aromas along with whiffs of petrol. It's medium bodied and medium sweet on the palate with nice aroma replays lifted by clean, bracing acidity. Very good length on the lip-smacking finish. Tasted Jan/2020.

Gerard Brisson Les Charmes La Louve Morgon 2018, Ac

This Gamay has a funky mineral nose followed by red fruit, cherry, and barnyard aromas. The medium-bodied palate is also quite minerally with dark berry, black berry, and black cherry flavours. Light tannins are ripe, smooth and velvety. Acids are fresh. Earthy-barnyard notes linger on the long finish, with excellent length. Tasted Jan/2020.

Grown on Kimmeridgian limestone soils, this Chablis has a fresh, medium-high intensity nose of oyster shell mineral with citrus and lemon notes, all of which echo very nicely on the balanced, medium-bodied palate. It's supported by clean, mouth watering acids. Fine oyster mineral and citrus notes linger on the long, balanced finish. Tasted Jan/2020.

The fragrant, clean nose delivers kiwi, guava, grassy, and green aromas with some herbal, lime, and spice complexities. It's medium-bodied with nice, ripe replays, and hints of mineral on the flavour profile. It has clean, balanced acids and is finely textured due to barrel fermentation in old French barriques. Nicely balanced throughout with excellent length on the finish. Tasted Jan/2020.
