Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.

Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

The fragrant, clean nose delivers kiwi, guava, grassy, and green aromas with some herbal, lime, and spice complexities. It's medium-bodied with nice, ripe replays, and hints of mineral on the flavour profile. It has clean, balanced acids and is finely textured due to barrel fermentation in old French barriques. Mostly Syrah with minute amounts of Mourvèdre and Viognier, this has a medium+ intensity nose with savoury, meaty, and peppery spice and some dark currant and cherry notes adding some fruit to the aroma profile. It's medium-bodied with supple, fine tannins that are a touch structured, with smoky, toasty, scorched earth flavours, plus touches of dark berry and spice notes adding complexity. Acids are fresh and nicely balanced. Finishes long with more smoky and scorched earth tones. Tasted Feb/2020.
