Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

A blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Grenache, this organic and biodynamic wine has a medium+ intensity nose that has funky earthy, spice, ripe red berry, cinnamon and licorice aromas. It's medium-bodied with light tannins and fresh acidity. Complex aromas shine through on the palate, lingering through to the long finish. Tasted Dec/2019.

Angove Family Crest Shiraz 2017, Mclaren Vale

The medium+ intensity nose offers blackberry, meaty, white pepper spice, and touches of mineral notes from the glass. It's full-bodied and dry with nice minty, chocolate replays supported by smooth, textured tannins and balanced acids. The finish length is very good. Tasted Jan/2020.

Lovely, fresh, medium-high intensity nose offers a stony mineral, lemony, and citrus nose with touches of ripe orange adding complexity. It's medium+ bodied with fine aroma replays and minerally and lemony acidity. Nice balanced throughout with more flinty and citrus notes on the long finish. Tasted Jan/2020.

The medium to medium-high intensity nose has lovely florals off the top, layered over peach, melon, stone fruit, and strawberry aromas, plus exotic white berry. The palate is dry, dense, and well-structured with lovely, well-balanced aroma replays echoing on the flavour profile. It has very good acidity, while earthy, cherry, red berry, and citrusy notes linger on the long, complex finish. Tasted Aug. 2025. Score: 91+ pts

The bright, medium-high intensity nose offers lovely dark plum, blackberry, and dark berry aromas with hints of oak and earthy tones adding savoury interest. On the medium-full bodied, dry palate it has lovely, well-balanced aroma replays that joined by stony minerals and savoury spice flavours. It has clean and juicy acids, while the present tannins are smooth and refined. Notes of stony mineral, spice, dark berry, and blackberry linger on the finish, with excellent length. On the dry, medium+ bodied palate it has ripe aroma replays with notable citrus and green apple characters in a slightly spicy profile. It has well-balanced acidity and a nicely textured mouthfeel, while subtle spice notes linger on the finish, with very good length. Tasted June 2025.
