Domaine Sabarda Côtes Du Rousillon 2009, Ac
Languedoc, France$11.90
Nice rich berry, herbs and mineral smells emerge on the nose and follow through on the pallet. Nice med-to-full body. The balance and structure demonstrates the skillfullness of the wine maker and the natural essence of Southern France.
Hob Nob Pinot Noir 2010, Vin De Pays D'oc
Languedoc, France$10.95
Sorry Steve, I totally disagree with ya man...This does not resemble the normal varietal characteristics of Pinot Noir at all. In fact was going to say if you're a Pinot fan you will be gravely disappointed. It's still a well made (cheap) wine...the fruit seems cooked though, offering prunes, dates, raisons with loads of black liquorice, anise, brown sugar and vanilla oak. It actually reminds me a bit of cheap Nebbiolo. Sorry I can't find any Pinot love here.
Viña Chocalan Syrah Reserva 2008, Maipo Valley
Maipo Valley, Chile$14.95
Needs a half hour to open up, then it shows rich cherry tobacco notes, sweet strawberries, and smoky vanilla oak...delicious fruit, full bodied, well made with grippy tannins, finishes with herbal tea flavours. complex and delicious and afordable. thank you Chocolan! Thank you.
Viña Cobos Felino Malbec 2009, Mendoza
Mendoza, Argentina$19.95
Nice wine with good structure. Nothing too exciting - it gave me nice wet earth, smoky cherries and hints of vanilla oak - I liked it.
Ravine Vineyards Sand & Gravel Chardonnay 2010, Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$17.95
nice easy going wine that drinks smooth.
Cattail Creek Pinot Noir 2009, VQA Four Mile Creek, Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$18.95
despite it's light body, this wine shows off some nice pinot flare. the nose offers cherry, cranberry, vanilla cola. Nice pinot for the price, but sour/ vinegary and acidic.

Diamond Ridge Merlot 2007, Napa Valley
California, Usa$19.95
a beautiful beast of a Merlot! big, focused and smooth. Lots of big fruit, and tannic grip. "big boy juice"...gary Vee.
Les Vignerons Du Castelas Vieilles Vignes Signargues Côtes Du Rhône Villages 2009, Ac
Rhône, France$16.95
Vintages panal must have smoked something before they tasted this wine...I didn't get an attractive nose of spicy cherries and tobacco? Typical rhone herbs on the nose but a tad cheap smelling...Okay effort at best.
El Transito Pietro Marini Malbec 2008, Cafayate Valley, Salta
Salta, Argentina$13.95
incredible value...this wine is so easy to drink.
