Luzón Selección 12 Meses Crianza 2008, Do Jumilla Bottle
Luzón Selección 12 Meses Crianza 2008, Do Jumilla
Murcia, Spain
$17.95

There may be too much (oaky) make-up on this lush little diva, but it's round, lush and sexy all the same.... and it's packed with flavour to please the crowd!

Belle Glos Meiomi Pinot Noir 2012 Bottle
Belle Glos Meiomi Pinot Noir 2012

Well well well, what a let down. Man what a pathetic effort. I really thought I'd give this another try and see if it's improved...and well, it's gotten even worse. This is $10 grocery store wine. Sweet and okay. Very short finish. Caramel cotton candy lingers. Sorry Joseph Wagner, you seem like a good winemaker but this stuff really sucks. $27.95 at the LCBO - robbery.

This should fly off the shelf at $20 bones...as long as you're not a Canadian critic...It packs big structure and backbone, but it's soft enough to enjoy now. Blackberry, cassis, char, tar, pipe tobacco, prunes and modest oak. Has something for everybody.

Cline Pinot Noir 2013, Sonoma Coast Bottle
Cline Pinot Noir 2013, Sonoma Coast

Drinkable, but I agree with the flock; too over ripe - tastes like prune juice. Blah - worth under $10.

This is a delicious fuller bodied rose. It bursts with cherry blossom, sweet blood orange, and orange citrus that keeps things fresh. This is super smooth and silky.

Elouan Pinot Noir 2014, Willamette Valley Bottle
Elouan Pinot Noir 2014, Willamette Valley
Oregon, Usa
$29.95

I can't say this is a reflection of place, because it isn't, it a stylistic wine. That doesn't mean that it's fake and worthless...in fact this wine is lush on the palate and packed with flavour. It start's sweet with rich vanilla and tobacco notes with a little earthy funk to the nose and finishes neat albeit somewhat short but with caramel delicsiosness. This is a delicious ready to drink wine with a classy twist top. Cool stuff, love it!

tasted the 2010 last night. Nice cigar tobacco, cherry & leafy notes. Soft and low in acid and tannins, so an easy sipper.

Middle Earth Sauvignon Blanc 2012, Nelson, South Island Bottle

Maybe the Wine Align folks had a flawed bottle...mine was strikingly brilliant. Grassy, with white pepper, grapefruit and sea salt. The palate is zesty and structured with a dry finish.

sweet and fruity, with hints of barnyard - medium bodied. A tad disjointed with a bit of spritz...maybe needs to sleep for awhile? I enjoyed it though.

Hinterbrook Pinot Noir 2010, Niagara On The Lake Bottle
Hinterbrook Pinot Noir 2010, Niagara On The Lake
Ontario, Canada

Some quintessential Pinot qualities in this sexy little devil. It's super light, almost transparent, but don't be fooled...it's full, lush and silky on the palate. It caresses your mouth with caramel coated cherries and just a hint of herb. This has aged nicely. Nice stuff, and for 20 bones, I highly recommend!
