Hidden Bench Chardonnay 2011, VQA Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$28.95
One of my favourites, always poised, balanced and beautiful.
Dry Creek Heritage Zinfandel 2010, Sonoma County
California, Usa$14.75
I'm 90 on this ZIN! Although it's not the most sophisticated wine, it's well made and drinks nicely. I even picked up some lime peel or citrus notes to the otherwise sweetly fruited tannins. I'd say it's medium bodied and pretty lean by California standards.
Bachelder Saunders Vineyard Chardonnay 2011, VQA Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$44.95
Prado Rey Crianza 2006, Do Ribera Del Duero
Ribera Del Duero, Spain$20.95
From start to finish, everything about this wine is great. Classic spanish charm in this spicy cherry, cedary nose that plays out nice on the palate. The tannins are smooth but with a (classic spanish) dustiness. Nice firm finish. respectable wine.
Mont Tauch Le Tauch Fitou 2010
Languedoc, France$19.95
I really enjoyed the suave texture of this Syrah/Carignan/Grenache blend. Balance and structure hold up throughout. The flavours need more time to develop, as it's little shy on fruit at the moment. But superb quality for the price.
De Wetshof Finesse Lesca Estate Chardonnay 2012, Wo Robertson
Robertson, South Africa$14.75
Wow this is outstanding...Especially considering it's under $20 bones. Really nice natural and pure nose of butter, mineral, white musk, melon, banana and cream. (lot's of Malolactic on this baby). The palate is full suave with intense-elegance. Nice structured finish.
Akarua Central Otago Pinot Noir 2011
Central Otago, New Zealand$37.95
BIG, RICH & ROUND! ...is the best way to sum up this Pinot. Fans of Russian River Valley Pinots will appreciate this offering. The nose is deep and seductive with sweet brown sugar, sweet cherry tobacco & warm spices. The palate is full, round and plush - it has a real creaminess. The finish is long and smooth. Would I purchase it again? You bet!
Norman Hardie County Pinot Noir 2009, VQA Prince Edward County, Unfiltered
Ontario, Canada$39.00
Great Pinot nose that offers cherries, vanilla oak with hints of earth. Light bodied and elegant but with noticeable fine tannins. Nice tension on the palate between sweet cherries and sour cranberries. Finishes dry and tart with nice mouth watering acidity.

Bonterra Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Mendocino County
California, Usa$19.95
Bordeaux qualities - a little un-refined and sharp/ tannic...but well made. Cherry, Cassis, blueberry, saw dust
