Bonterra Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Mendocino County
California, Usa$19.95
Bordeaux qualities - a little un-refined and sharp/ tannic...but well made. Cherry, Cassis, blueberry, saw dust
Ondarre Reserva 2008, Doca Rioja
Rioja, Spain$19.95
This is a classic Rioja that charms you with old world earthy notes, cedar, leather and spicy cherries. Medium bodied and with super fine tannins. A absolutely amazing wine for the price.
Norman Hardie County Pinot Noir 2009, VQA Prince Edward County, Unfiltered
Ontario, Canada$39.00
Great Pinot nose that offers cherries, vanilla oak with hints of earth. Light bodied and elegant but with noticeable fine tannins. Nice tension on the palate between sweet cherries and sour cranberries. Finishes dry and tart with nice mouth watering acidity.

Villa Maria Private Bin Pinot Noir 2009, Marlborough
New Zealand$19.95
Classic NZ Pinot flavours, a tad light bodied.
Sonoma Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay 2011, Sonoma Coast
California, Usa$27.95
A classic in my book. Always offers balance and grace with a creamy texture. It's used to be only available at restaurants...great value on sale for 24 bucks.
Château De Nages J T Costières De Nîmes 2012, Ac
Rhône, France$26.95
This is a fairly plush, medium weight Rhone blend. Cherries, hot rock and smoky ash on the nose. The palate adds licorice, violets and coco powder. Dusty tannins add grip to the finish. Good value for $20. BIG TIP - decant for an hour - this get much richer, rounder and smoother.
Bachelder Niagara Chardonnay 2011, VQA Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$24.95
Nice creamy texture with honey suckle, and some faint citrus undertones. Easy drinking elegant stuff, flavours are subtle.
Chilcas Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Colchagua Valley
Colchagua Valley, Chile$17.95
Smells like Ricola herbal cough drops, and smoky cherries with vanilla oak & cedar. The palate is medium bodied, with grippy tannins. Nice fruity loganberry finish.
Béjot Les Bouchots Montagny 1er Cru 2013, Ac
Burgundy, France$22.25
Lemon butter with mineral notes. It's medium bodied - feels creamy on the palate but finishes dry. This wine is suave but also gently refreshes your palate. Very nice for the price.
