Alvar 2008 Cabernet Merlot 2008, Ontario VQA
Ontario, Canada$13.95
Plums, spices, a bit of earthiness and lead pencil shavings on the nose. Plenty of juicy fruit and soft tannins on this medium-bodied wine. Long aftertaste. Overall, an absolutely incredible wine at this price.
Fuzion Alta Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2009
Argentina$9.95
Plums, chocolate, vanilla, and some dustiness on the nose. The wine is medium-to-full bodied and the tannins is still somewhat harsh. Dried fruit flavours on the palate and a lingering finish that includes liquorice flavours.
D'arenberg The Stump Jump Grenache/Shiraz/Mourvèdre 2011
South Australia, Australia$17.15
Raspberry. floral, and pepper notes on the nose. It has lots of ripe red fruit, firm tannin, and is medium-bodied. Good value.
Santa Carolina Chardonnay Reserva 2010
Chile$11.95
Lime, orange peel, vanilla, and biscuits on the nose. On the palate, the alcohol stands out a bit and it is a bit flabby. Excellent length though.

Plums, smokiness, meatiness, and pepper on the nose. Lots of ripe fruit with softening tannin. Very good Shiraz.
Cono Sur Syrah Reserva 2010, Colchagua Valley

Intense mintiness, coffee, black pepper, toffee, and a meatiness on the nose. Plenty of fruit of the palate with some strong tannins still prevalent. May improve over the next 2 years.
Viña Tarapacá Gran Reserva Carmenère 2011, Maipo Valley
Maipo Valley, Chile$17.95
Blackcurrant, spices, and mint on the nose. It has soft tannin and is very fruity, but has good grip and is well-balanced. Med-to-full bodied - a fantastic wine.
Caliterra Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2013
Central Valley, Chile$9.95
Passion fruit and grassiness on the nose. Juicy with crisp acidity. Not much depth, but packs a punch.
Santa Carolina Reserva De Familia Carmenère 2010, Rapel Valley
Rapel Valley, Chile$18.95
Prunes, cedar, herbs, and chocolate on the nose. It has softening tannins, massive amounts of fruit, and is incredibly well-balanced. Amazing wine.
Errazuriz Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Aconcagua Valley

Cassis, black cherry, smokiness, spices on the nose. It has lots and lots of fruit and soft tannins, but some bitterness on the palate.
