Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

This blend of Grenache Noir, Syrah, and Mourvèdre was fermented and aged in concrete vats and has a fresh, bright, and medium to medium-high intensity nose of black raspberry, black cherry, stony mineral, and red plum aromas. It's medium+ bodied and dry with clean, fresh acidity alongside pleasantly supple tannins that support the delicious and appealing aroma replays on the flavour profile. Shows nice balance throughout with stony, savoury notes lingering on the lengthy finish. Tasted Nov. 2024.

Blend of 80% Monastrell, 15% Syrah, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Fragrant & open, the medium+ to medium-high intensity nose has ripe black & purple fruits, blackberry, cedary oak, spice, black cherry & plum aromas + whiffs of reductive notes. Medium+ to medium-full bodied palate is dry & spicy w/ ripe black & purple fruits, cedar oak, plum, black cherry flavours supported by crisp & bright acidity. Touches of licorice & sweet vanillin oak join the party on mid-palate. Ripe tannins are mildly grippy w/ good structure. Ripe black fruits w/ cedary oak & cocoa on long, juicy finish. Tasted Mar. 2025.

Mix of grape-oak aromas from the cork. Elegant and complex bouquet of lilacs, earth. forest floor and blackberry. Dry and medium-full bodied with more dark fruits on palate. Has a medium-length, smooth finish with mocha notes. Refined tannins are well-integrated. Good acidity and well-balanced. Yummy. Tasted Nov/2012.

Apple, toast, butter, earth/mineral aromas follow on the palate. Vanilla, pear and tropical fruit notes. Crisp, medium-long finish. Quite nice. It's not over-bearing with oak as some oaked Chardonnay's can be. Tasted Jan/2011.

Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Fun 2009

This red wine is fruit forward with low- to medium-intensity cran-cherry and strawberry aromas. Bitter cranberry, sour cherry and fruity flavour profile. Good acidity, slightly hot finish. Easy drinking, good BBQ wine. Would probably have been more "fun" last year.

Cherry, strawberry aromas and flavours. Some pepper notes. Finishes a touch smoky. Light-medium bodied with a medium-long finish. A lighter style of wine that appears unoaked and ready to drink now. Tasty! Tasted April/2011.
