Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.

Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

A blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Gamay, and Cabernet Franc, the medium+ intensity nose seems shy at the moment. On the palate it has kiss of sweetness with flavours of ripe red berry, cherry, strawberry, mineral, stone fruit, and orchard fruit, all of which is supported by very good acidity. Finishes dry with leesy mineral notes. The length is very good. Tasted Apr. 2024. Score: 88+ pts

Fresh, citrusy, lemon & ripe tropical fruit nose. It's nicely textured and a touch grippy on the medium+ bodied and dry palate with delicious aroma replays on the flavour profile It has fresh and lively acidity, and is nicely balanced throughout. Very good length on the crisp finish. At the ideal temperature of between 10-12°C, it allowed the wine to breathe and release more complex aromas and flavours, while also offering a more richer, rounder, and creamier mouthfeel. It was definitely much better at the slightly warmer temperatures and continued to improve as it warmed up. Tasted Mar. 2025.

To create the pinkish hue, half of the grapes for this single vineyard Pinot Grigio were left on its skins to soak for 72 hours. It has a fresh, elegant, and pretty nose of medium-high intensity with aromas of floral, watermelon, red berry, strawberry, and rhubarb notes. On the medium-bodied palate it has fresh acidity and a touch of sweetness which lift the attractive aroma replays on the flavour profile. The long, crisp finish has a kiss of sweetness that is nuanced with touches of spice. Tasted May 2024.
