Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.
Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

Featherstone Pinot Grigio 2023, Vegan, VQA Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$15.60
To create the pinkish hue, half of the grapes for this single vineyard Pinot Grigio were left on its skins to soak for 72 hours. It has a fresh, elegant, and pretty nose of medium-high intensity with aromas of floral, watermelon, red berry, strawberry, and rhubarb notes. On the medium-bodied palate it has fresh acidity and a touch of sweetness which lift the attractive aroma replays on the flavour profile. The long, crisp finish has a kiss of sweetness that is nuanced with touches of spice. Tasted May 2024.
Zacharias Moschofilero 2022, Pgi Peloponnese
Peloponnese, Greece$12.00
The attractive, medium-high intensity nose offers pretty aromas of Mandarin orange, honeysuckle, floral, grapefruit, lychee, and citrus. The medium+ to medium-full bodied palate is dry, ripe, and slightly honeyed with delicious citrus, grapefruit, honeysuckle, orange blossom, and floral flavours with touches of spice, wild herbs, and lychee adding further complexity. Acids are fresh, juicy, and mouth-watering. There's a touch of zesty spice on the mid-palate, while savoury, leesy notes come through on the juicy finish, with very good length. Tasted July 2024.
