Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Made from organic grapes, this sparkling wine "sparkles" with floral, melon, peach and lime zest aromas of medium+ intensity. Has crisp acids, lemon zest and citrus flavours with finely balanced mousse. The medium-long finish is just off-dry. Tasted Oct/2014.
Megalomaniac Bubblehead 2011, VQA Niagara Peninsula

Grapefruit, lime and toast aromas. Fine mousse on the palate with grapefruit, bing cherry, and strawberry flavours. It is extra dry with a medium-length finish. Tasted June/2013 soon after bottling.
Featherstone Canadian Oak Chardonnay 2011, VQA Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$21.95
Fermented in oak barrels (25% new) from trees grown along the Grant River in Brantford, Ontario. Nose a bit closed with aromas of smoke, butter, and pear. Creamy with oily texture on the palate. Flavours consist of spice and buttery-apple notes, along with hints of toast. Nicely balanced with a long finish. Tasted June/2013.

Medium-high intensity bouquet featuring pomegranate, red & black fruits, elegant spice, and new oak. Medium-bodied with earthy, cherry-cran, and orange citrusy flavours on the palate. Slightly astringent tannins, balanced acids, savoury earthy & fruity finish. Will reward 2-3 years in cellar. Tasted Apr/2014.
Château De Gourgazaud Cuvée Mathilde Minervois 2011, Ac

Blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre. Medium+ aroma intensity with blackberry, blackcherry and hints of violet. On the palate, it's medium-full bodied with round tannins that are nicely integrated. Pleasing aroma replays, along with black pepper and red cherry notes. Acids are well-balanced. Finish is long and smooth. Tasted Aug/2014.

Medium intensity aromas led by an earthy core and joined by purple fruit. Full bodied with a ripe core of purple/black fruits, oak spice. Balanced acid and refined tannins mesh together to a lasting finish. Tasted Apr/2014.

Screw cap. 100% Verdejo. Medium-high aromatics showing lovely floral, herbal nose, with a backdrop of earth, and hints of guava and banana. Very complex nose. Palate is medium+ bodied with herbal, white grapefruit, passion fruit and hints of tropical fruit. Fresh acids are nicely balanced, while the dry finish is very good. Excellent value! Score: 88+ pts

Melon & citrus aromas from the cork. Medium+ floral aromatics, followed by beeswax and hazelnuts. It's medium-full bodied and complex with nutty, floral, ginger flavours, and a subtle sweetness. Lively acids. Some minerality on the dry, medium-length finish. Tasted Dec/2014.

Medium intensity nose with aromas of dark cherry, blackberry and oak spice. It's medium-bodied with firm tannins. Flavour profile consists of dark fruits and black cherry. Has mouth-watering acids and a lengthy finish. Enjoyable now, but better to hold 1 year and enjoy until 2018. Tasted Apr/2014.
