Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.

This unoaked Chardonnay has a rich, deep nose that delivers generous aromas of lemon citrus, white flowers, and earthy mineral with hints of ripe stone fruit, apple, and white peach. On the medium+ bodied, it has lovely ripe yellow fruit, citrus, earthy mineral, apple and floral flavours framed by bright acidity. Hints of honey and yellow plum join the mineral, citrus, and apple notes on the spicy mid-palate. Excellent length on the long, minerally finish. Tasted Aug/2021.

The fragrant, medium-high intensity nose is fresh with a pleasing mix of minty herbs, cassis, dark currant, and black cherry aromas backed by savoury earthy undertones and subtle wood spice. The medium-full bodied palate is ripe with currant, cassis, earthy, and wood spice flavours in a slightly tangy profile. Ripe tannins are smooth and well-integrated with a subtle chalky textured mouthfeel, while the acids are fresh and juicy. Nicely balanced throughout with earthy notes lingering on the long finish. Tasted May 2022.

This blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache has a pleasing medium-high intensity nose that offers spicy black pepper, dark plum, dark cherry, ripe black & blueberry aromas, plus some stony mineral notes. The ripe, medium-full bodied, well-structured palate has dark cherry, black-blueberry fruit, peppery spice, violet, and licorice flavours with underlying savoury mineral notes. Plummy and dry on the mid-palate with fresh acids, and slightly chalky tannins, with more plum, dark berry, and savoury mineral notes lingering on the finish, with very good length. Tasted Sept/2021. Score: 88+ pts

This organic red wine is a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Sagrantino that has an elegant, perfumed, medium-high intensity nose of lovely red cherry, sweet spices, cinnamon, and floral aromas with wet earth notes providing a savoury aspect. It's medium-full bodied with lovely aroma replays plus some dark cherry notes on the flavour profile. It has juicy, succulent acids, while the firm, gritty, and drying tannins need a few years to integrate. Savoury and earthy with some minerals linger on the finish, with excellent length. Tasted Sept/2021.

It's medium+ bodied, dry, and well-structured with delicious ripe currant, black cherry, grilled herbs, leather, and tobacco flavour replays, plus touches of pepper and spice. It's all supported by fresh acidity and supple, gently chalky textured, and well-structured tannins. Currant, black cherry, and savoury oak notes with a hint of dark plum lingers on the finish, with very good length. Tasted Aug. 2023.

Acids are fresh, juicy, and well-balanced, while the smooth, refined tannins are dusty textured. It's full-bodied and quite tangy on the dry palate with black cherry, plum, and violet flavours, turning savoury and woody on the back palate. It has fresh, juicy acids and elegant, smooth, and supple tannins with just a touch of grip. Savoury, earthy, and wood spiced on the finish, with very good length. Tasted Apr. 2022.

It's medium+ bodied on the dry palate with delicious currant, cassis, dried herbs, herbaceous, peppery spice, and gentle cedary oak flavours supported by fresh acidity and supple, fine-grained tannins. Cedary oak spice and dried herbal notes linger on the finish, with very good length. Tasted May 2023.

The medium-high to highly aromatic nose is pretty with lovely red cherry, strawberry, grapefruit, floral, and herbal aromas. It has very good fruit concentration on the medium to medium-full bodied palate with lovely grapefruit, tangy citrus, and bright red fruit flavours. It's nicely balanced throughout with juicy acidity and very long aftertaste on the finish. Tasted Nov. 2021.
