Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.
Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

Wakefield Jaraman Shiraz 2017, Clare Valley/Mclaren Vale, South Australia
South Australia, Australia$24.95
Screw cap. Aromas of ripe black and blue fruit along with oak resin, wood, brown spices, and meaty notes with touches of licorice rise out of the glass. It's medium-full bodied on the slightly warm palate with flavours of blackberry, blueberry, savoury oak spice, and earthy tones with hints of white pepper. Food-friendly acids are juicy and well-balanced, while smooth, polished tannins have a fine-grained texture. Wood and savoury notes linger on the finish, with good length. Tasted Dec/2020.
Bel Air Clochers Saint Amour 2017, Ap
Beaujolais, France$18.95
Fresh and perfumed with currant, red berry, floral, beetroot and some spice aromas. It's light-to-mid weighted with spicy currant and red berry aroma replays on the flavour profile, plus some earthy notes. Acids are fresh and the finish length is very good. Tasted June/2019.
Le Monde Brut Prosecco, Doc Friuli Grave, Italy
Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy$18.95
Medium+ intensity nose is fruity with lemon and citrus aromas and flavours. The medium-bodied palate is fresh and dry with tart and tangy citrus and grapefruit notes. It has crisp, balanced acids and good length on the finish. Tasted July/2019.
Bouchard Père & Fils Les Deux Loups Blanc 2015, Ac Côteaux Bourguignons
Burgundy, France$17.95
Tasted July/2019.
Thomas Goss Shiraz 2016, Mclaren Vale, South Australia
South Australia, Australia$16.95
Tasted July/2019.
Casa Santos Lima Colossal Reserva 2016, Vinho Regional Lisboa
Lisboa, Portugal$15.95
A blend of Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, and Tinta Roriz that has a fruit forward, purple fruit, dark berry, spicy, and pungently funky aromas. It is medium-full bodied with dark berry and minty notes on the flavour profile. Acids are fresh while textured tannins have some grip. Very good length on the finish. Tasted July/2019.
Citra Ferzo Abruzzo Superiore Pecorino 2017, Dop
Abruzzo, Italy$17.95
Medium+ intensity nose offers flinty minerality, green apple, and quince aromas. The palate is spicy with pleasing aroma replays. A bit low in acids, while the finish is long and juicy. Tasted July/2019.
Cavino Muscat, Pdo Samos (500ml)
Samos, Greece$10.25
Quite fragrant and fairly sweet with honey, melon, lychee, nectarine, peach and some floral aromas and flavours. Light-weighted on the palate with fresh acidity. Touch spicy on the long, clean finish. Tasted July/2019.
