Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.
Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

Fresh, medium+ intensity aromas of beet root, earth, and cherry notions. It's medium-bodied with good weight to the fruit and nicely balanced aroma replays. Tannins are supple while oak spice notes come through on the juicy finish, with very good length. Tasted Dec/2019. Score: 88+ pts
Château De Tréviac Corbières 2017, Ap
Languedoc, France$18.95
This tank-aged blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache has a medium-high intensity nose that is rich, swarthy, and quite pretty with dark berry, cherry, black licorice, garrigue, pepper, anise, and subtle stony-smoky mineral aromas. On the full-bodied, concentrated palate it has lovely black cherry, licorice, black pepper, spice, and stony mineral flavours supported by fresh, lively acidity and refined tannins that have a somewhat chalky, grippy texture. Black cherry, licorice, and savoury, stony, smoky mineral notes linger on the long finish. Great buy! Tasted Mar/2021.
De Angelis Offida Pecorino 2018, Docg
Marche, Italy$13.95
Medium+ intensity nose offers pretty floral, white flower, stone fruit, citrus, and melon aromas. The medium-bodied palate has clean fruit and acids, with nice aroma replays on the ripe-fruited flavour profile joined by some pleasing spice notes and a touch of heat on the mid-palate. Hints of mineral on the finish, with very good length. Tasted Jan/2020.
Alvides Tinto Roble Tempranillo 2016, Do Ribera Del Duero

This is fresh and fruity with a medium-high intensity of blackberry, dark cherry, clove, and funky earthy aromas. The medium-full bodied palate has good fruit with fresh acids and supple, textured tannins. Nice aroma replays on the flavour profile. The long finish has cherry, earth, and clove notes. Tasted Jan/2020.
