Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.
Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

Courtois La Grange Vinsobres 2015, Ac
Rhône, France$17.00
The subtle nose offers red cherry, spice, and touches of candied ripe red berries. It is full-bodied with nice, spiced aroma replays layered on top of some earthy and wood flavours. It has vibrant acids and refined, gritty tannins that are integrating very nicely. The finish is long and chalky. 55% Grenache and 45% Syrah. Tasted Aug/2019.
Gérard Bertrand Syrah/Grenache 2015, Ap Languedoc
Languedoc, France$14.95
A medium-high intensity nose that offers a complex array of earthy, spice, red & black fruits, currant, and some minerality. It has a medium-full bodied palate with nice aroma replays, balanced acids, and rounded tannins. Mineral notes linger on the finish, with very good length. Tasted Oct/2018.
Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2016, Marlborough, South Island
Marlborough, New Zealand$18.25
Score: 88+ pts. Tasted May/2017.
Gérard Bertrand Côte Des Roses Rosé 2017, Ap Languedoc
Languedoc, France$18.95
Glass enclosure. The medium+ intensity nose has appealing aromas of grapefruit, citrus, spring meadow and herbally notes. On the medium+ bodied palate, it has clean and crisp acids with nice texture. Herbally and grapefruit flavours on the dry flavour profile. Touch honeyed, with some bitterness on the long finish. Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah. Enjoy over the next 18 months. Tasted Aug/2018.
La Valentina Pecorino 2016, Igt Colline Pescaresi
Abruzzo, Italy$17.95
Crisp lemon/lime zest, tropical fruit, and citrus aromas from the cork. The medium+ intensity nose offers ripe apple and lemon with hints of white floral and tropical aromas in the glass. The medium+ bodied palate is slightly creamy and oily textured. Ripe with nice aroma replays and a salty mineral character emerging as it warms in the glass. Zesty acids keep the palate fresh. Very good length with white floral notes on the finish. Best served with a light chill. Tasted May/2018. Score: 88+ pts
Buena Vista Pinot Noir Carneros 2013
California, Usa$21.75
Open, medium-high intensity aromas of raspberry, sweet oak spices, dark cherry and some forest floor, earth, tea leaf, white pepper are quite complex. It's medium bodied on the palate with suave tannins that are well-integrated and lovely aroma replays followed by some herbally notes. Acids are very good and balanced. Excellent finish length. Tasted Sept/2017.
Errazuriz Aconcagua Alto Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Do Aconcagua Valley
Aconcagua Valley, Chile$21.95
Sweet oak spice, red cherry, dark berry, and hints of dried cherry & floral aromas, all of which come through nicely on the balanced, medium-full bodied palate. Elegant tannins are well-integrated, while fresh acids provide lift. Very good finish length. Tasted Nov/2018.
