Fresh, medium to medium-high intensity nose is spicy with dark berried currant, wild blackberry, cherry, and minerally aromas. It has grippy tannins on the dry, medium+ bodied palate with delicious savoury, minerally, and dark berry replays and is supported by very good acidity. Finish is long, earthy, and minerally. Quite youthful at this stage, I would put this away for a few years to let the tannins soften. Tasted Nov. 2024.

The fresh, medium-high intensity nose is bright and instantly appealing with lovely red cherry, rose floral, raspberry, earthy, and cocoa aromas. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it has lovely aromas replays joined by touches of orange peel and cedar oak spice adding further complexity on the flavour profile. It has very good, juicy acidity, while the elegant, well-structured tannins are smooth and present. Finish is long and earthy, with oak spice, cherry, and red fruit characters. Tasted Oct. 2024. Score: 91+ pts

This blend of Merlot and Sangiovese has fresh and attractive, red fruited aromas of cherry, currant, rose floral, sweet spices, and cinnamon. It's medium-full bodied with very good structure, dry with a crunchy mouthfeel and lovely aroma replays, plus captivating clove and cinnamon notes on the flavour profile. It has very good acidity, ripe tannins with good tannic structure, while savoury earth and woodsy notes linger on the long-lasting finish. Tasted Sept. 2024.
