Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Lovely, highly aromatic, and elegant tea leaf, black cherry, raspberry, strawberry, and hints of smoke aromas all come through nicely on the balanced, light-to-medium bodied palate. It has fresh, juicy acids and grippy tannins that should soften in a few years. Excellent length on the finish. Tasted June 2022.

85/15 Merlot & Cab Sauv. Lovely, complex, elegant & very attractive nose has medium-high intensity aromatics of crushed & stewed dark berry, black cherry, sweet spices, wet earth, olive & sandalwood. It's medium-full bodied w/ complex & maturing flavours of dark berry-cherry, sweet spices, earth, currant & cassis. Acids still quite juicy & refreshing. Some dried cherry & floral notes on mid-palate. Maturing tannins are structured, refined & somewhat grippy-chalky, w/ pleasing mouthfeel. Earthy w/ black cherry, olive & sweet spice notes linger on long finish. Tasted Dec 2022. Score: 92+ pts

Primarily from Monterey, this blend of 42% Grenache, 31% Cinsault, 24% Syrah, 2% Petit Verdot, and 1% Counoise has a medium-high to highly aromatic nose that is fresh, ripe, plummy, red fruited with a subtle smokiness. It’s medium-full bodied with smooth, nicely textured tannins. Flavours are dry and nicely balanced with red fruits, currant, red cherry, and subtle wood. Fresh, balanced acids. Long, red fruited, cherry, and smoky finish. Tasted Apr. 2022.

Blend of 91% Carmenere, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Mourvedre. The smoky, medium+ intensity nose is layered over aromas of currants and herbs. It's medium to medium-full bodied on the palate with clean, balanced acidity and flavours of wild herbs, oak spice, and currant. It's ripe with smooth and supple tannins, with very good acidity lingering on the long finish. Tasted Nov. 2022.

The nose seems rather quiet with glimpses of citrus, orange, white peach, and honeyed aromas. On the rich, concentrated, and medium-full bodied palate it has deliciously off-dry and gently spicy flavours of citrus, white peach, ripe apple, and honey with touches of slatey and leesy minerals. It's nicely textured on the mid-palate with crisp, vibrant, and refreshing acidity that balances the sweetness, while leesy mineral notes linger on the sticky, juicy, long, and dry-ish finish. Tasted Mar. 2023.

100% Pinot Noir. The medium-high intensity nose has ripe, maturing, and slightly stewed strawberry, red berry, raspberry, and cranberry aromas surrounded by enticing savoury mineral, earthy, and spice notes. It's light-to-mid weighted on the dry palate with delicious strawberry-cran-cherry, raspberry, and spice flavours layered over mineral and savoury earth notes. It has very good acidity and supple, well-structured tannins and a light grip on the mid-palate. I really like the long, elegant, stony mineral and raspberry flavoured finish. Tasted Feb. 2023.

Screw cap. The fresh and fragrant nose is slightly musky with aromas of Meyer lemon citrus, white peach, and guava with hints of mango, gooseberry, and herbs. It has good weight on the dry, medium+ bodied palate with elegant and refreshing acidity lifting the ripe, lightly honeyed flavours of Meyer lemon, citrus, guava, melon, tropical fruits, and herbs with touches of gooseberry. It's nicely balanced throughout with citrus, tropical fruit, melon, and herbal flavours joined by some mineral notes on the lingering finish, with very good length. Chill and enjoy. Tasted Mar. 2023.

The ripe, medium-high intensity nose delivers lovely currant, cassis, and tobacco aromas in a mix of red & black fruits. It's medium+ bodied with spicy aroma replays on the flavour profile. It's supported by fresh acidity and supple, grippy tannins, while the finish length is very good. Tasted Apr. 2023.

Spontaneously fermented in barrel, this has a fresh, medium to medium-high intensity nose of white peach, apricot, and citrus layered over notes of orange. On the dry, mid-weighted, and nicely textured palate it has pleasing aroma replays with orange and stone fruit flavours. It has clean, balanced acidity and finishes long, dry, and minerally with hints of sea shell notes. Tasted Apr. 2023.

This 100% Sangiovese has a lovely, fragrant, and medium-high nose of Bing cherry, clove, cinnamon, sweet cherry, and savoury oak spice aromas, all of which echo in a delicious fashion on the dry, medium+ bodied palate. It has bright and fresh acidity, along with smooth tannins that are refined and elegant. There's some warmth, but it's within balance, on the long finish with spice and savoury earth tones. Tasted Oct. 2025. Score: 90+ pts
