Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Malbec, and 8% Cabernet Franc. Elegant, refined, and fresh aromas of red and black fruits, currant, cassis, blackberry, and earth with a whiff of herb wafting out of the glass. It is full-bodied with lovely replays of currant, cassis, and herb, plus cocoa, earth, oak spice, and touches of graphite on the refined palate. Fresh acidity is well-balanced, while the structured tannins are smooth and fine-grained with some grip. Savoury oak notes come through on the very long, mouth-watering finish. Tasted Dec/2020.

Blend of 92% Carmenere and 8% Petit Verdot has a deep, rich, yet somewhat shy nose featuring aromas of herbally, evergreen, currant, cassis, red & black fruits, and subtle wood spice notes. On the medium-full bodied, structured palate it has lovely, flavourful aroma replays that are nicely balanced with fresh acidity and fine, well-integrated tannins. Impressively structured on the mid-palate, while finish length is excellent. Tasted Nov/2021.

Very aromatic with steely minerality dominating, with hints of honey and melon. Slight spritz with a touch of honey on the palate. Nice acidity and a minerally, medium-long finish. Tasted Sept/2012.

Blend of 70% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, and 5% Molinara. Highly aromatic nose featuring earth, bing cherry, strawberry and sweet oak. It's full-bodied with silky tannins and very good structure. Captivating, oak-spiced aroma replays are intense on the palate. Very good fruit and oak balance, with some pleasing sweetness. The finish goes on and on. Enjoy over the next 15 years. Lovely, highly aromatic, perfumed nose of red cherry, berry, raspberry, and floral with some savoury underpinnings. It's medium-full bodied with lovely aroma replays supported by firm, grippy, and chalky tannins, and very good acidity. Excellent finish length. Drink this stylish wine after 5-7 years of ageing. Tasted Sept/2019.

Gorgeous, intense aromatics offer a mix of red berry, floral, and sweet spice with savoury undertones, all of which echoes nicely on the flavour profile. It's full-bodied with chiselled, well-defined tannins that have some chalky grip, while acids are fresh and balanced. Powerful, yet elegant with plenty of finesse. Excellent finish length. Still a bit tight at this stage and will benefit with 2-3 years ageing and drink over the next 20+ years. Birth year treasure. Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasted Nov/2019.

A superb expression of Sangiovese, this has an elegant, highly aromatic nose of crushed cherry, cedar wood, rose floral, and purple fruits. The rich, powerful palate is medium-full bodied with big, structured, chalky tannins. It has very nicely balanced aroma replays that is more earthy with tar and leathery notes. Some mineral and graphite flavours arrive mid-palate and linger through to the finish, with excellent length. Needs 5-6 years and enjoy over the next 20 years. Tasted Nov/2019.

The medium-high intensity nose offers lovely earthy, mineral, red cherry, and raspberry aromas. It's medium-full bodied on the structured, concentrated palate with lovely aroma replays joined by flavours of sweet spices and oak. Acids are bright and juicy. Very grippy tannins. Excellent length on the finish. A big wine that needs at least 5-6 years in the cellar and should drink well into the mid-2030s. Tasted May/2019. Score: 93+ pts

Gorgeously aromatic and intense, this has a beautiful nose of pure red cherry and strawberry, joined by orange, leather, and tobacco aromas which add complexity. On the medium-full to full-bodied palate, it delivers fresh acidity and firmly structured, yet delicate tannins which support the very fine, ripe red fruited aroma replays, plus savoury wet earth undertones. Spiced and earthy notes linger on the very long-lasting finish. Tasted Oct. 2022.
