This is what dreams are made of. Everybody has a perfect wine & this is mine. Perfectly balanced, suave and subtle. Cherry, vanilla, smoky oak and just a hint of earth. Tannins are precise and the finish is tight. Perfect in my opinion.

Ontañón Crianza Tempranillo/Garnacha 2011, Doca Rioja

Great review David, I couldn't have summed this wine up better. 90pts for me though. This wine provides incredible drinkability!

Perrin & Fils Les Cornuds Vinsobres 2013

Violets, and hot rock. Lacking a little in the flavour department at first, but if you forget about this wine for several hours, and I mean decant for 6-8 hours, the wine opens up with roasted chestnuts, baked blueberries, charred earth and hot rock. Rhone wines are a preferred taste, very different from what most are used to, but very unique and special.

Alto Moncayo Veraton 2011, Do Campo De Borja

This is a full throttle juicy wine, bursting with blueberry jam and oozing vanilla extract residue from the oak. It's really smooth and delicious...and yes lots of Grenacha sweetness. Cab heads and bourbon boys will dig this.

Chateau Des Charmes Gamay Noir 'droit' St. David's Bench Vineyard 2010, St. David's Bench

As close to a Cru Beaujolais as you're going to find! A solid Ontario expression of Gamay.

Okay WineAlign does not have the 2011 vintage posted but it is superb. Classy and sensual. this is a wine that will bring you pleasure.

Great balance and complexity for the price. A very full mouth feel.

Yering Station Village Pinot Noir 2005, Yarra Valley

I loved this wine b/c it was super smooth and when paired with a filet, it tasted like ripe strewberries.

Henry Of Pelham Estate Chardonnay 2013, VQA Short Hills Bench, Niagara Peninsula

Absolutely fantastic Chardonnay. This is textbook Oaked Chardonnay. Balanced fruit and acidity and very calm on the palate. HOP has a great track record of consistent wine making and this chard continues that legacy at a terrific price.

This is a really seductive wine. Smells of red roses, sugar plums, blueberries and a hint of smoke. Refined tannins make this medium bodied wine silky and smooth. Reminds me a little of Cotes du Rhone. I definitely recommend this!
