Maetierra Dominum Qp 2006
Rioja, Spain$19.95
Dried rose petals, dried fig, ripe cherries, spice, vanilla, wet wood, barrel must. The palate is perfect weight...finishes with super fine saw dust tannins. Everyone will appreciate this fine wine.
Tabalí Reserva Especial 2011, Limari Valley
Limari Valley, Chile$18.25
Big, strong and grippy. Dark fruits and cassis mostly with well integrated vanilla oak. Missing some elegance, but then most blends from Chile are about power.
Tormaresca Trentangeli 2012, Doc Castel Del Monte
Puglia, Italy$19.95
This is a wonderfully balanced wine with suave tannins. Packed with blueberry, vanilla and smokey dark roast coffee. Medium weight. Super super fine tannins make a sandpaper finish.
Gérard Bertrand Côte Des Roses Rosé 2013, Ap Languedoc
Languedoc, France$18.95
Loved it! It's fresh and citrusy.
Tierra Del Fuego Limited Edition Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah/Carmenère 2008, Maule Valley
Maule Valley, Chile$19.95
Nice deep purple ruby stain in the glass leads to a classic carmenere nose...smoky black cherries, chili peppers, creamy oaky vanilla. A tad off balance, lazy & hot, but a nice long finish.
Lailey Pinot Noir 2009, VQA Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$24.95
Needs time to mellow. It has amazing structure and it is well made so i imagine it will develop nicely. However currently not drinking like a pinot should...it's just too rough.
Henry Of Pelham Reserve Baco Noir 2009, VQA Ontario
Ontario, Canada$24.95
Not sure if there's a better Baco noir made on the planet. It rustic but smooth showing sweet and sour cherries, smoky plum, leather, mud, wet leaves -medium to full bodied silky tannins - its beyond well made - it's perfectly balanced & structured. Oh Yaaaaaaaaaaaaa the right stuff!
Alto Moncayo Veraton 2011, Do Campo De Borja
Spain$33.95
This is a full throttle juicy wine, bursting with blueberry jam and oozing vanilla extract residue from the oak. It's really smooth and delicious...and yes lots of Grenacha sweetness. Cab heads and bourbon boys will dig this.
Muriel Gran Reserva 2004
Rioja, Spain$24.95
Decadent, silky, creamy and lush. I love the satin finish. This is a delicious wine that will impress everybody.
