Cave Spring Estate Riesling 2013, VQA Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula

I want to echo what David said, except add that it has enough "CO2 tingle" to resemble a sparkling wine. I wonder if that varies a bit by bottle. Still, very nice.

Terranoble Gran Reserva Carmenère 2011, Maule Valley

Sara describes it best, except that I did not find it intriguing, is simply did not work for me at all. Lucky I have someone else to finish it for me.

Château De Gourgazaud Cuvée Mathilde Minervois 2013, Ac

Rich and smooth, with los of fruit. I can taste the Rhone like syrah. Good value.

Malivoire Gamay 2014

Pepper on fhe nose, the first taste is a little harsh. But it grows on me, and becomes a decent glass of wine. It develops an interesting finish. So be patient with it.

Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Margaret River

With lots of fruit, including cherry, there is also good complexity. I get a little pepper on the finish. There is nothing in it to complain about. Excellent value.

Santa Carolina Reserva De Familia Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Maipo Valley

Lots of flavour, but it has a bit of harshness. Using the carafe did not help much. It is no better than we can grow in Ontario.

Macrostie Pinot Noir 2007, Sonoma Coast

Deakin Estate Shiraz 2009, Victoria

Slightly harsh finish typical of cheap Australian shiraz, but it is cheap so worth the price.

Trumpeter Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Mendoza

Francois Botha has it right, but I think it is good enough for an 89. A good buy.

Monte Del Frá Bardolino 2010

Well described by the other reviewers, but underrated by some. This is very good wine for the price.
