Château Malmaison 2006, Ac Moulis En Médoc

This wine is a nice example of a well-made Bordeaux wine with good value. A bit shorter on the finish but the black and red fruit is wonderful. I would buy this wine. I think it would be nice with some food.

Recently introduced to this house, I'm quite impressed. This bubbly has finesse. Aromas of apple, pear, and hazelnuts entice while the palate showcases a creaminess balanced by that supporting acidity. Lemon pulp notes round off the finish with a lasting and refreshing length. Great value for what you will undoubtedly enjoy in the glass. Tasted February 2013.

A beautiful expression of this grape variety. I'm impressed. It's so well balanced and leaves you with a lingering finish. Wonderful flavour with enough acidity to hold it's own. A slight spice at the end. Delicious.

I just love a fine sparkler. This is a very fine sparkling wine. Made in the traditional method blending Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and a hint of Syrah, it shows crisp acidity with muted fruit flavours. I think it will have mass appeal and I'd serve it for any one of my parties. :)

A mineral-driven sauvignon blanc from vines tended with organic and biodynamic methods. Fermented with wild yeast and work in the cellar based on the lunar calendar. A wonderful assortment of zesty citrus, pineapple, ripe pear, dense mineral, and dried herbs to inspire the nose and palate.

Maybe I'm not a huge lover of Australian Shiraz. I wasn't a fan of this wine for the money that it's commanding. Yes, it's a good wine and I'm sure plenty of people will love it! I think for me personally, I would rather spend half the money and get the E. Guigal Syrah. Just my two cents!

An elegant Chardonnay from Ontario. A very nice example of a cool-climate Chardonnay. Great acidity and minerality. There is oak but it's very well integrated. I think for myself, I would prefer to be every so slightly less oaked. It's a nice wine.

A well-balanced combination between fruit and oak. The length is very good with a hint of warmth on the finish. Good value. Tasted March 2013.
