Blue Mountain Pinot Noir 2011, Okanagan Valley
British Columbia, Canada$24.90
While this wine is only available from the winery direct it's worth the effort. I'm with David on this one, and since I'm not a professional critic my score reflects the incredible value of this wine. Best Pinot Noir for the money.
Château Gassier Le Pas Du Moine Rosé 2015, Ap Côtes De Provence Sainte Victoire
Provence, France$21.95
The best rosé I have had this year. Perfect for anytime including breakfast.
Señorío De P. Peciña Reserva 2001, Doca Rioja
Rioja, Spain$29.95
For those of us who are still learning the virtues of cellaring (or simply drink their wine too fast), it's a rare opportunity to purchase an aged wine that's ready to drink. This Rioja is a fantastic wine and I highly recommend it to friends who want a change of pace from fruit bombs.
Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2011, Marlborough, South Island

Domaine Belle Les Pierrelles Crozes Hermitage 2007, Ac
Rhône, France$22.95
I attempted to drink a highly rated Aussie Shiraz right after this and couldn't believe the contrast. This wine has an intense peppery nose. It is smooth and complex at the same time. I fear my big Shiraz days may be numbered as I quite preferred this French Syrah. I'm good for a case!
Wolf Blass Gold Label Shiraz 2005, Barossa, South Australia
Australia$28.95
Poor test. Then most excellent.
Closson Chase Closson Chase Vineyard Pinot Noir 2009, VQA Prince Edward County

A fine county Pinot. Review added from my Android app
Ontañón Crianza 2010, Doca Rioja
Rioja, Spain$16.95
Enjoyed this wine with roast beef last night. Excellent value!
Exultet Estates 'the Blessed' Chardonnay 2010, VQA Prince Edward County
Ontario, Canada$35.00
This is an inspired, outstanding wine. A terrific example of county chardonnay.
