Finca El Origen Chardonnay 2010, Uco Valley, Mendoza
Mendoza, Argentina$10.95
At the price this wine is a steal. Has minerality on par with wines more than twice the price. It's a cool climate chardonnay.
Bertani Secco Bertani 2011, Verona
Veneto, Italy$16.95
Enjoying this with pizza today at work. What an amazing food friendly wine for the price.
Henry Of Pelham Baco Noir 2016
Canada$15.95
I cannot think of a more quaffable and enjoyable wine for $15. Do yourself a favour and try this wine. It's like a Canadian Zinfandel. Sure, it's just touch sweet but it's crowd pleasing, eminently drinkable and goes with anything.
Mr. Riggs The Gaffer Shiraz 2006, Mclaren Vale, South Australia (Galvanized Wine Group)
Australia$23.95
I quite enjoyed this.
Linda Domas Wines Shot Bull Shiraz 2004, Southern Fleurie, South Australia
Australia$18.75
I'm adding my voice. But at the same level as Michael and Tony.
Château Brehat 2001, Ac Côtes De Castillon (J. De Monteil, Prop.)
Bordeaux, France$22.95
Very good.
Dfj Vinhos Pedras Do Monte Castelao 2007
Portugal$6.05
I may have got a jump start on this before it is available at the the LCBO, but the 2007 is surprisingly good for the price. To me, this had smooth, pinot like qualities for $10 bucks.
Edgebaston The Pepper Pot 2010, Wo Coastal Region
Coastal Region, South Africa$16.95
Most popular wine a the 2012 Wine & Cheese Show
Vineland Estates Cabernet Franc 2010, Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$14.95
I was thoroughly impressed with this wine. At only $13 that's an amazing value for a high quality Ontario wine. I'm sure the hot growing year of 2010 has something to do with its richness. If you've never tried a Cabernet Franc this is a great place to start.
Clos Du Bois Cabernet Sauvignon 2011, North Coast
California, Usa$15.95
For $16 this is an outstanding Cali Cab for the money. Top value.
