Poliziano Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano 2012, Docg
Tuscany, Italy$31.95
Excellent Sangiovese-based wine from Tuscany, just like a good Chianti Classico. Great value at this price point. Benefited from an hour of decanting. Tasted January 2016.
Château L'hospitalet La Réserve Rouge 2014, La Clape, Ac Coteaux Du Languedoc
Languedoc, France$21.75
Very impressive full-bodied wine that tasted great right away upon opening. Highly recommended. Tasted July 2018.
Lagoalva Reserva 2015, Vinho Regional Tejo
Portugal$25.95
Very nice wine that required 3 - 4 hours of decanting before it turned out real nice and smooth and did not taste so tart any more. Tasted March 2018.
Decoy Chardonnay 2016, Sonoma County
California, Usa$34.95
I agree about the sweetish notes. Quite an amazing Chardonnay ! Tasted October 2019.
Louis Roederer Brut Champagne 2012, Ac
Champagne, France$104.95

Le Clos Jordanne Vineyard Chardonnay 2006, VQA Niagara Peninsula, Twenty Mile Bench

Tasted the 2005 vintage. Impressive Chardonnay at this price point. I highly recommend it. Tasted in July 2017.
Masi Brolo Di Campofiorin 2006, Igt Rosso Del Veronese
Veneto, Italy$26.95
i have been keeping this wine for a couple of years and was looking forward to the day I would open it. However, this wine did not live up to my optimistic expectations. My biggest disappointment was how light this wine turned out to be (let's say light to medium body range to be fair) and the associated acidity. Also, I found the flavors to be almost completely taken over by the oak. Tasted December 2011.
Hecht & Bannier St Chinian 2007
Languedoc, France$20.75
Nice, smooth full-bodied wine from a great region making a comeback on the wine scene. I was expecting a lot more though, especially after having been treated to Languedoc wines of the great 2009 vintage year.Tasted January 2013.
