Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Aromas of medium+ intensity with red berry and currant notes. It's medium-bodied on the palate with beetroot and tilled earth flavours. Has very good acids and lengthy finish. Tasted Oct/2014.

Domaine Lafage Cuvée Centenaire 2011, Ac Côtes Du Roussillon
Languedoc, France$17.95
Blend of 80% Grenache Blanc and Grenache Gris, and 20% Roussanne. Lemon, mineral and floral aromas from the cork. Quite aromatic with nice florals, wet rock, pleasing barnyard and hints of peach notes. Light weight, with fresh, crisp acids on the palate. Complex flavour profile featuring white peach, acacia flowers, elegant spice, and herbs. Dry with good structure and a long, mouth-watering finish. Highly recommended. Tasted Feb/2014. Score: 90+ pts.

Wolf Blass Gold Label Chardonnay 2012, Adelaide Hills

Highly aromatic nose with buttered popcorn, butter, and hints of orchard fruit with nice aroma replays on the palate led by apple and butter notes. It's medium-bodied, balanced acids and has a long, smooth finish. Very well balanced overall. Tasted Feb/2014.

Mostly Tempranillo with 7% Graciano and 3% Mazuelo (Carignan). Plum and old, wet wood aromas from the cork. Medium+ intensity aromas featuring dried fruit, cedar, blackberry, plums and hints of underbrush. It's medium-bodied with an earthy core surrounded by notions of black cherry, blackberry, dried fruits, and herbally notes. Acids are still very fresh. Tannins are slightly dusty, but otherwise very smooth. Excellent length on the cherry-earthy finish. Tasted Nov/2014.

Blend of 60% Cab Sauv, 25% Merlot, 12% Cab Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. Medium-high intensity aromas of dark fruits, purple fruits, blackberries, lavender and mocha. Full-bodied and dense with big tannins that are integrated very nicely. Harmonious aromas show very nicely on the palate, along with some plummy + herbal notes. Mouth-watering acidity to go along with a long, long finish. Enjoyable now, but can be aged for another 15 years. Beautiful! Tasted Nov/2013.

Screw cap. Medium-high aromatics with terrific complexity offering white pepper, garrigue, blackberry, mint, with some earthy/barnyard funk. Dusty tannins are nicely integrated with just a touch of grip on the medium-bodied palate. Juicy blackberry, white pepper, black cherry, mint, earth and wood flavours in a dry style, Acids are fresh. Nice, long earthy finish. Old world in style and highly drinkable. Tasted Apr/2017.

Medium-high intensity aromas of apricots, peach, honeysuckle, lemon and very nice and delicious aroma replays on the palate. Feels syrupy in style on the medium-full bodied frame and has slight heat on the medium-length finish. Reminds me of a Vidal. Tasted Jan/2014.
