Highly aromatic and ripe with lovely, open aromas of petrol, lemon/lime citrus, peach, red apple, earth, and stony minerals. It's medium-full bodied on the semi-dry (i.e. somewhat sweet) dense palate with delicious peach/apricot, citrus, and petrol flavours, all of which is supported by fresh and juicy acidity. Attractive petrol, spice, and citrus notes linger on the long, complex finish. Tasted Apr. 2026. Score: 92+ pts

The medium+ intensity nose seems a bit shy, revealing vanilla oak aromas layered over ripe apple, pear, and peach. On the medium-full to full-bodied palate it has excellent concentration with lovely vanilla and orchard fruit notes in a rich profile with well-judged oak. It has very good acidity, with vanilla, butter, and apple notes on the long, tasty finish. Tasted Oct. 2025. Score: 92+ pts

This barrel-fermented and aged Chardonnay has a rich, medium-high to highly aromatic nose that is smoky and leesy with binned apple, pear, vanilla, earth, and touches of lemon citrus aromas. It's medium-full to full-boded on the dry palate with lovely, balanced aroma replays and notable smoky, leesy, apple, and citrus flavours. It's nicely textured with earthy, leesy, and mineral notes on the long finish. Tasted May 2025. Score: 91+ pts

Ripe, medium to medium-high intensity nose seems a bit shy at the moment, offering vanilla, buttery, apple, pear, and lemon citrus aromas. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it has crisp and lively acidity that supports the lovely, well-balanced, and flavoursome aroma replays which are joined by savoury, earthy minerals. Rich and textured with lovely savoury, earthy mineral notes lingering on the long lasting finish. Should improve and gain further complexity after a few more years in bottle. Tasted June 2026. Score: 91+ pts
