Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.
Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

Emiliana Signos De Origen La Cantera Garnacha/Mourvèdre/Syrah 2015, Do Colchagua Valley
Colchagua Valley, Chile$19.95
Tasted Aug/2019.
Château Hauchat 2016, Ac Fronsac
Bordeaux, France$17.95
This 100% Merlot was aged for 15 months in an equal parts new, 1 year old, and 2 year old barrels. Enticing and complex, this has medium+ intensity aromas of spice mingling with ripe dark berry fruit, wood, and hints of vanilla and plum. It is medium-full bodied on the palate with dark berry, currant, cedar oak, and spice flavours. Acids are juicy while the ripe tannins are quite chalky and a bit tight at the moment. Dark berry, clove spice, and wood linger on the finish, with very good length. I would cellar this for 2 years and enjoy into the mid-20's. Tasted Aug/2019.
Bodegas Teófillo Reyes Tamiz Tempranillo 2016, Do Ribera Del Duero

Momo Organic Sauvignon Blanc 2018, Marlborough, South Island
Marlborough, New Zealand$19.95
Seems a bit shy at the moment, with a soft, medium intensity nose that has some reductive characters, laying underneath are some earthy, herbal, apple, grassy, kiwi, and tropical fruit aromas. The medium-bodied palate is nicely textured with good fruit and pleasing aromas replays on the flavour profile. Some savoury and mealy notes on the finish, with very good length. Tasted Jan/2020.
H J. Fabre Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Mendoza
Mendoza, Argentina$18.95
Medium-high intensity nose offers complex currant, cassis, herbs, and oak tones. The palate is full-bodied with firm, dusty tannins and very good acidity. Balanced dark fruit, herbal, currant, and cassis flavours. A touch woody with bitter oak notes on the long finish. A big wine to enjoy over the next 7-8 years. Tasted Aug/2019.
Delas Frères Saint Esprit Côtes Du Rhône Rosé 2018, Ac
Rhône, France$16.95
Medium-high intensity nose is fresh with grapefruit, red berry, strawberry, and cherry notes. The medium-bodied palate is dry and fresh with clean acids and nice aroma replays. Very good length on the spicy, clean finish. Tasted Aug/2019.
